The home has a TON of character. Windows EVERYWHERE

The master bathroom has agas fire place, king bed, vaulted ceiling, a wall of windows with nothing but woods, the bathroom has a his and hers with a sky light, and a large all tiled shower and book nook/sunroom/lounge off the bathroom leading to a private deck that leads to the hot tub.

the kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets, bowls, trays, plates, glasses (whiskey & Wine), 2 sinks, double oven, breakfast bar, coffee and kurege, toaster and microwave, pressure/rice cooker, and a big dining table.

the living room has a wood burning fireplace, wet bar, TV with bose surround, lots of movies and comfortable seating.

The game room off the living has a loved Hockey table, basketball arcade, tons of games, and a poker table.

movies, books, and games for the kids/parents/teenagers/grandparents.

Perfect get-away without getting all the way away.

My family spent Thanksgiving here and commuted to Shelbyville. Beautiful place in the woods even saw some deer. Eric was a very gracious host and was very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing stay. The house was beautiful! I’m hoping to make it a yearly stay— what a gem!

The inside of the house was in great shape. The hot tub worked well. The fireplace in the master worked and had easy to understand instructions.

The driveway was covered in leaves and was hard to identify where it was the first time we were there.

The porch needs the existing lights fixed or other lights added as it was very hard to see in the hottub at night.

Eric's place was perfect for our little family getaway. The location is very private and peaceful. It's an easy, scenic drive to Nashville and Brown County State Park. We would absolutely stay here again.

What a wonderful getaway. Everything was perfect, and the king bed was heavenly - usually we can’t sleep too well away from home, but once we got into bed we were out and didn’t move until the morning! Love the little touches everywhere, we can’t wait to return.

The location was great and private. The house was in great shape, beautiful , and lovely to be in. Nashville is a great place to go to stores and enjoy walking around the town.

Eric was very communicative. The Airbnb was as absolutely beautiful and everything that I expected! We went to wineries and ventured downtown. It was a much needed relaxing holiday weekend!

This house has an amazing view of the woods. If you are fortunate to be there when it's not rainy, it is very peaceful to sit around the table on the deck and enjoy the birds singing and beauty of woods. If it is wet snd rainy, there still is a beautiful view vis the large windows.
The kitchen is well equipped, the game room fun, living room comfortable and master bedroom suite amazing. This is my second time to stay here but with a different group and all have been very impressed and want to return. We have stayed at tons of vacation rentals but rarely want to return even if they are exceptional. We also enjoyed Cedar Creek Winery, Oliver winery, Brownie's Bean Blossom Restaurant, Farmhouse Cafe and Tea Room where all were exceptional, as well as the beautiful roads to get there.

My husband and I stayed there for an anniversary getaway, and it was perfect! The home is big!
It was neat as a pin and clean. There was a nice hot tub but we never got round to using it, I spent more time in the bath! Its huge and amazing. I still miss it ?. The house is very private, and the property is forested. Heard all kinds of interesting night time sounds. Master bedroom has a humongus window, and the night we were there the moon was full and huge. Just so pretty. Nashville was about 15-20 mins away. Would stay again!!

We loved our stay here. The house had pretty much everything you would need. Lovely views from the rooms and the master bedroom view was breathtaking in the morning. Well equipped kitchen had really everything you would need. The upstairs sun room was my favorite spot to read. Access to laundry would have been nice but wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful. We had a great weekend relaxing. The door to get in is on the deck and didn’t realize it at first. Only complaint was the bathtub/ shower temp gauges were a little confusing to work.

Great place!

Stonehaven is a lovely home nestled into a hill overlooking a ravine with a forest full of tall mixed hardwood trees. Although we were a little early for peak colors, we were able to enjoy the beginning of fall through all of the home's windows. The view from the main bedroom is spectacular. What a wonderful way to wake up. The bathrooms were clean and the main en-suite was very spacious with double sinks. The kitchen was well-equipped. Although there were only two of us, we could have cooked a holiday meal for a large group. The vintage 1980's home has a quirky layout that was fun to explore with a variety of comfortable places to sit. Although seemingly in a rural area we were able to find a few great places to eat only a short meandering drive on lovely scenic roads. We booked this vacation hoping for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Stonehaven did not disappoint.

Peaceful, plenty of space and something for everyone to do! Well equipped kitchen! Responsive host. This place is excellent for relaxing and spending quality time together. There are no laundry facilities which wasn’t a big deal for us but might be for extended stay or those who like to pack light! 30 min from all kinds of activities. Great WiFi!

We loved the great hide-away home and all of the amenities. Only a 20 minute drive to Nashville and all of its restaurants and shopping. Some beautiful views along the way, especially near Bean Blossom. We enjoyed cruising through the Brown Co. forest and visiting the nature center. Hope to return in the future.

Great place for a weekend girls getaway!

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here and absolutely loved the location and the scenery.

My family visited this listing for the weekend with our 4 kids. When we arrived we were amazed by the snow covered trees. When we walked in the house, we quickly saw the house was as described. Our kids were quickly excited by the game room. My husband and I went to the master bedroom and was surprised by how much nicer it was than we even envisioned. Waking up to the sunrise everyday was breathtaking. The kitchen was beyond well stocked with supplies such as pots, pans, dishes, etc. If you enjoy cooking like we do, this kitchen is for you. The drive is a little longer if you're planning to stay in Nashville, but it's worth it.

I loved this home, it felt like I was visiting my grandmother.

Great long weekend cabin getaway! The wood burning fireplaces made us feel cozy during our cold & rainy January stay.

Had a really amazing time here. The house was just as advertised in the photos, and it was clean too. I especially loved the fact that the kitchen had literally every appliance and type of pot I needed, utensils etc. They even had complimentary coffee and creamer which was a plus! There was so much for my family to do indoors with so many games (poker, basketball, air hockey, jenga), and they even had plenty of toys for our toddlers and high chairs. I could go on and on, but summary, this place was amazing and had EVERYTHING thought out. Eric was also super quick to respond to emails during the booking process, in the days leading up to our stay, as well as during the stay. He responded in almost immediately which was impressive! I will definitely be booking my next getaway with Moondance again!

Our family of four spent 3 days over Thanksgiving here. We brought the turkey already prepared and then cooked all the sides here. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. Just relaxed and played games all weekend. Very peaceful and private. Be sure to grab all your groceries beforehand because it’s a bit of a drive to the nearest stores. I also suggest arriving during the daylight because it is truly back in the woods and very dark. All in all a great experience.
