Great experience! Will definitely stay here again. This place is right in the center of all of the fun things to do/see in Brown County. The place itself is cosy and clean. Eric responded right away when we had a little trouble finding the house late at night. Overall a 5 star experience, couldn’t have asked for a better weekend 🙂

The Snoozy Snail cottage was an excellent stay all around. The place was incredibly clean, especially for a place that is pet friendly. There were more amenities than I expected especially for the pets we brought. Eric was really responsive and friendly and had things set up very nicely for us.

The location is also an easy walk to both downtown Nashville and to the Hard Truth distillery. Can't recommend this place enough.

LOVED THIS PLACE!! Private, well equipped, new and comfortable mattress, plenty of firewood for a mostly secluded fireplace and gathering area, picnic table and additional outdoor tables, hot tub in private area, national park parking pass, wifi/Roku, and much more. About 1/4 mile walk to all of the shopping, and the National park/trails is just 5 minutes away.

We really did love this place! Felt very at home and very relaxed. Loved how private the yard was. Great place to stay at in brown county.

My only reason for giving it 4 stars was that the AC was broken and we weren’t told that or warned. There is also no locks on the bedroom doors or bathroom so if you’re staying with others make sure you’re comfortable haha

Eric’s place was so cute and homey! It has everything you need and more. It’s ver thoughtfully designed and in a perfect location. Only about a 10 min walk to downtown and it’s right by Hard Truth. This was our second time at the Snoozy Snail. We travel with one other couple and it’s PERFECT. Eric has thought of everything you’d need: fire starting, coffee, lots of pillows, hammock, bedroom trash cans and towel racks, games…the list goes on and on. I can’t stress enough how PERFECTLY SITUATED this property is. You’ll “feel” like you’re in the woods—stream running out back, animals walking by, privacy from neighbors—but you’ll be within walkable distance to the two greatest things: downtown Nashville AND Hard Truth. Also, the street it’s on has a back route to the main roads, which is super helpful on days with traffic! Just note: only one bathroom, so sharing is required. If this property got one half bath added, it would be out of this world!

Definitely more peaceful and even more beautiful than the pictures. The place was like home away from home an so inviting an comfy. The fact they even had toys for the dogs and comb an even a little collar just in case. Amazing. The little creek out back my boys loved and me forgetting a micro towel for paws, they already thought to have!! I was just in awe of this place and all you thought to provide for our stay. Loved this little house and was in such a good location. It’s probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Everything was fully stocked with things you forget you even need. The only thing I can say is it needs a couple small saucepans. We loved the hot tub and the grill and fire pit, had a great time making s’mores. Will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay , was peaceful and quite ! It was very clean and had all the ameneties you needed for your stay . We had a little trouble finding it , but when we called, the gal we talked to gave us directions and we were able to drive right to it. Was very close to downtown Nashville , we were happy about that because we went shopping and of course ate at the nice restaurants there. Loved the hot tub too All in all was a very enjoyable stay ! The Snoozy Snail exceeded our expectations. The pictures looked amazing, but this property is even better in person. You could spend all day just looking at all the details in and around the property. We had everything we needed, and some things we didn't even realize we might need. Everything from firewood and fire starter, to an emergency lantern, fuzzy robes, and plenty of linens and pillows. Eric has truly thought through every aspect of his guests' experience at the property.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, and the hot tub and outdoor areas were very clean. We were only a ten minute walk from all the local shops and restaurants in town which was great! There are neighbors on either side of the property, but the privacy fencing does it’s job well and we had no issues.

It was the perfect ladies getaway to relax and enjoy the shopping and restaurants. The hot tub was our favorite place to relax. Every bit of this place is perfect. They thought of everything. We had plenty of pillows and blankets, extra charger, games, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Even the pullout sofa was pretty comfy. The decor is so charming with vibrant colors…. So adorable! They had all the supplies to start a campfire, which we did, but ultimately we all loved the hot tub. The creek in the back adds to the charm. All the women in the group raved about how clean and fantastic this place was. We were able to walk to town….this location is ideal. I can’t say enough about this little gem. It accommodated our group of five women just perfectly. If your thinking of visiting, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be coming back. I miss it already.

Eric’s rental was great!! Cozy, but perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the large living room TV and hot tub. Wish the weather would have been warmer to enjoy the fire pit and deck more and also wish it had a dishwasher, but still so happy with the stay. They had so many little touches we appreciated (ie fire starters, table games, Bluetooth speaker etc). The location is amazing, walkable to downtown Nashville, Hard Truth Distillery, and Brown county Music Center (even though steep hill to walk to music center). We took a short drive to the state park as well. This rental would work for 2-3 couples as well, other than small bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

This was my first time renting an Air BNB. So, I am not sure if all Air BNB’s usually come with most things one would need, but there was so much provided that we didn’t need some of what we brought. Just to name a few; fire starters, a long lighter, a charger, room spray, candles, body pillows & fans (I was most excited about these 2 because no one ever has them), heaters, spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, some dog accessories & bedding (didn’t need, but noticed), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. We appreciated all of the extras while staying there! This was the perfect place for a weekend get away with my mom!

The beds were incredibly comfortable and they give you so many pillows and blankets to choose from.

It is located just down the road from little Nashville and near a distillery and golf course.

The only thing to think about is that the doors for the bedrooms and bathroom are barn doors. This does leave a little to be desired for privacy if you are not traveling with people you are very comfortable with.

I am already planning my next trip to bring my husband!

was very happy to find this place for just my husband and me. the 4h fair was taking place so i think traffic was heavier than what is typical. otherwise we were just surrounded by nature sounds at night. the bed was really comfortable and we slept well. coffee in the morning could be enjoyed anywhere - i preferred the back patio as there is a little creek that runs there. we had a fire our first night and just sat and relaxed until midnight. the hosts provided everything a guest could possibly need. i loved that a pass to the park was included in stay - we visited 3 seperate times and it was nice to just flash the pass. this home is the perfect location to get everywhere too. nashville has lots of personality, and snoozy snail fits right in. can’t wait to come back!

Cute place close to concert and a block from downtown. Fun place to enjoy with all the personal touches. I didn't mind the sliding doors as much for the bedrooms but the bathroom did not give me the privacy I would prefer.

We loved staying at the Snoozy Snail! It was cute, cozy, had nice amenities, great location and was exactly what we wanted for a getaway spot. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. We also appreciate that they were prepared for our dog staying there to make her feel at home as well! We will definitely go back to the Snoozy Snail.

What a perfect spot!

The location could not be better. It was a great central location between downtown Nashville, Hard Truth Hills, and of course Brown County State Park. All were just a very short drive away. We even enjoyed listening to Friday night football as we were enjoying a fire.

The cabin was beautiful, fun, and eclectic with a very welcoming and cozy environment. It was full of everything you would need right down to a state park pass! Everything was so thoughtful and enjoyable. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The hot tub and fire pit were great places to relax. It was nice to have so much outdoor space with large patios.

We are thankful to have found such a wonderful place and hope to come back for many trips to come!

We liked the location, it was nice and quiet but close to Nashville. The house well stocked with all necessities, we wouldn't really have needed to pack toiletries. And it was pretty clean! The only downside is that the doors through the house were barn style doors and they didnt offer much privacy, that wasn't a concern for us but it may be for others staying there. Overall we had a great time and host was very prompt and communicative!

We loved this place. Private and such a cozy little house. The hot tub was so great. Little touches in the place really made it for us. The oven wasn’t working for our stay but Eric was communicative about the issue and we were able to plan accordingly. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely LOVED this cute cottage! It was incredibly hot outside during our visit, so we were disappointed to miss out on exploring the parks. But our cozy cottage was the perfect escape from the heat. We enjoyed grilling out, playing games, and just relaxing! The cabin is absolutely perfect for a girls weekend! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook meals in. The house itself was super clean yet felt homey, and the beds were comfortable. We loved using the hot tub and fire pit! And you can't beat the location, theres plenty of things to go explore within a few minutes drive. We will definitely visit again!

We absolutely LOVED the house!! It was decorated beautifully (we were admiring everything all weekend). It was such a homey feeling and cozy. We loved that there was everything we could possibly need available, if needed (lighter, pillows, blankets, Netflix/Disney+, fire starters, wood, fire sticks, lotions, shampoos, & so much more). There was also some yard games, umbrella, park pass. We also loved that it was so close to town. It was maybe a 1 minute drive & puts you right at the main intersection. You could honestly walk if you wanted. We didn’t bring a dog but we loved there was even things for the dog to use. A water bowl out front, a nice dog bed, blanket, a couple toys, snacks, poop bags. We would definitely recommend Snoozy Snail to anyone!!!!!

You will never want to leave once you arrive! Our cottage was beautiful, inside and out! Close to shopping and dinning. We loved the stream that ran behind the cottage. We enjoyed having our early morning breakfast sitting on the picnic table listening to the running water and song birds singing to us. WE can't wait to go back.

The Snoozy Snail is PERFECT for a weekend getaway or a girls trip!! It’s so small and cute but spacious at the same time! There’s plenty to do in Nashville but this little cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed to stay in if we wanted to! The Hard Truth Hills is only down the road with live music and bar food(and a restaurant!) depending on what you’re feeling, and it’s so close to all the little shops which was very convenient! We will be back!

The snoozy snail cottage has a great atmosphere inside and outside. The decor inside is welcoming and fun and there is plenty of space for fun outside between the fire pit area, Patio, deck, and hot tub! The space was clean and had everything we needed. The Snoozy Snail is perfect! There are so many amenities (cooking, games, electronics, etc.). The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and there is a relaxing outdoor area with a nice hot tub. The Snoozy Snail has everything you’ll need to explore the Nashville and Brown County area. Close enough to town and the State Park to be there in minutes. Situated along a slow moving rock bottom creek that is literally outside the back door, this little cottage has everything you need for your family of 4 or less. Hot tub, fire pit, grill, covered porch, hammock, sun deck, separate patio areas and that’s just the outside. Inside its warmly decorated with colorful, but tasteful touches making it a cozy space to spend some down time. Everything is clean and new, with little touches that you may expect from a hotel. You will find everything you need in the kitchen to make a big breakfast, home cooked meal or grill fest. While there are certainly bigger places to stay, you may not find many as welcoming and enjoyable to enjoy your Brown County getaway. So, if you want a place to slow down and catch your breath, I suggest the Snoozy Snail.

Deposit Policy
To confirm a reservation Moondance Vacation Rentals requires a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to be paid at the time the dates are secured. This deposit goes toward the reservation total. Taxes and processing (15%) and the damage waiver fee will be added to the rental amount. Payment in full is required 7 days prior to the check in date. Moondance Vacation Rentals will automatically charge the balance due to the original card on file 7 days prior to the check in date. Reservations made within 7 days of the check in date will be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. Special arrangements can be made if paying by cashier’s check or cash but the entire balance must be received 10 days before the check in date.
