Paradise View Log Cabin

This was our first time booking with Airbnb, and WOW! The place was everything it said and more!!! Super clean, beautiful, quiet, peaceful, everything we wanted and more!!! The pictures don’t do it justice! We loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave! We’re already looking forward to next year!

We enjoyed this peaceful, spacious cabin! It was very toddler friendly, which we greatly appreciated.

Our stay was great! Everything was as described and clean. The home is on a beautiful piece of property and had plenty for us to do with the games and activities provided.

This cabin is so cute and spacious! Very family friendly! Lots of things to do within the cabin itself! Eric and the owners were quick to respond if we had questions or concerns. My group was very happy here; and we would love to come back in the future!

It was exactly like described and shown in the photos. You are IN a forest, yet the sunshines in! Well maintained inside and out. (Beware of Acorns dropping out of the trees above, LOL) There were only 2 of us, but very well suited for families. We only used 2 of the three floors, which worked for us. I booked erics place last minute for my girlfriends 50th Birthday and it was perfection... 5 stars,A++- I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about thie Paradise View Cabin.. This place far exceeded our expections. They have thought of everything... it was a delight just admiring the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that was put into this beautiful place. we plan on booking a stay at each of Eric's "Moondance " rentals just to enjoy more of their cleverness. !! beyond the beautiful scenery and immaculately clean Cabin Eric was an easy and very accomadating , host!! You will not regret booking this Gem!!

We had a wonderful family weekend and would definitely stay here again! The entire house was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed the basement game room. Definitely 5 stars!

It was great

This is a good place for family gatherings. The deck pergola, hot tub, game room & board games are great. Clean & lots of nice touches: cookware, great utensils, a book with recommendations where to eat & go to, etc. a fun oversized “Connect 4” game.

We had a great family reunion. Beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed.

We originally booked another smaller cabin for our anniversary because we didn't plan to be in it much. When we got there it had not been cleaned yet and they were not expecting us so we called and were moved to this cabin instead. We were very surprised at how nice and clean this cabin was. We looked at the listing online on the way and it was way nicer than the pictures. It is off the main road a bit and feels private. There is so much deck space to relax with great views. We ended up spending more time at the cabin than we planned on and took full advantage of the hot tub and game room. We would definitely stay in this cabin again and probably bring along some friends or family next time to enjoy it with us.

We loved staying here. It was private quiet and secluded! Eric provided a clean fun environment. Plenty of fun things to do, and their love of coffee and provisions were the cherry on top of our stay!

This cabin was absolutely breathtaking. The location was peaceful and tranquil. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped, the hot tub clean and inviting. There were games,
Puzzles, fireplaces, an outdoor fire pit; we could not have asked for better amenities or a more lovely place to stay. Thank you for a truly wonderful few days; we’d love to return!

The Paradise View was in a great location. Serene, quiet, relaxing. It's close enough to Bloomington and Nashville to drive and shop or pick up a few things but definitely out of the city well enough to find vacation relaxation. We would absolutely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

What a lovely home in a lovely location!! It was even nicer than the pictures, very comfortable and clean, comfy beds, beautiful views of the forest. Our kids had so much fun with the shuffleboard table and pool table, and the movie room in the basement was great! Kitchen had so many nice extras with everything we needed to make big meals. We would definitely stay here again!

Eric's listing had so many extras that really made our trip feel like home, especially with a toddler! The cabin was extremely clean and nearby both Nashville and Bloomington!

Had a great stay! We did lose power for about 30 min on Saturday but didn’t impact the trip too much. Refrigerator filter was out and we would have preferred to know in advance so we would have brought more bottled water. However still a great trip, awesome cabin and overall 4.5 ⭐️!

Perfectly peaceful. We loved the games in the basement, nighttime fires at the firepit were great! Close to Nashville and Bloomington. It was the perfect little getaway.

This place was charming and well equipped to host a group. The kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed for cooking every meal while we were there. Beds were comfortable and the wooded setting created beautiful views from all of the outdoor decks.
The only unexpected thing was that the water filter wasn’t working so we needed to go out and buy filtered water. Plan to bring your own water, if it’s not fixed when you book. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin.

The cabin was beautiful!! But if you have a chance of needing to change dates, don’t book this cabin! I rented it for a race event and due to weather, possibly was going to be rescheduled. So I messaged Eric and he responded, it depends if you purchased trip insurance. ? so I was very thankful the event didn’t get rained out or I would have been screwed! As for the cabin it was very clean and a great place to stay. Only thing to make it prefect would be to offer a washer and dryer for the guest.

Peaceful wooded setting, ideal for our girls' trip. Plenty of amenities within the home that we could have enjoyed more if we stayed longer! Our adventurous spirits led use to a Pathfinders Lake Monroe boating experience, and Nashville restaurants and shopping, and enjoyable scenic drives. Thank you!

I rely on reviews so I’ll be accurate - the location was great, peaceful and calm, 15min to restaurants and attractions.
The cabin was nicely equipped.
Our only complaint was that it wasn’t cleaned well. Walking barefoot or in socks, our feet got so dirty from walking inside! The deck was also dirty and couldn’t use the railing because of overwhelming spiderwebs. Yes that’s outdoors, but that’s a reason we couldn’t use any of the outdoor furniture.
Otherwise, the cabin was great, the shuffleboard and pool table were fun, nice layout and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our time with our family at this cabin! We had 3 couples and 2 dogs. The outdoor space was wonderful! The kitchen was a nice size and fully stocked. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Eric was very responsive and proactive in his communication. We appreciated that greatly. We had a great time and look forward to coming back next year!

clean, spacious, well maintained, quiet.

The house is lovely, well-stocked and tranquil. There are lots of games for kids that our children loved. The kitchen has tons of utensils, coffee and cookware. There are air filters in every room.

A few things worth noting. Because of the high roof, the upstairs gets toasty when hot (even with AC), there is no washer/dryer, and the windows in the rooms have few or no curtains.

The wrap around porch is divine, the surrounding forest is amazing, the hot tub is immaculately maintained and check-in couldn’t be easier. We would stay again. Cheers!

Paradise View Log Cabin was great. simultaneously just off the highway and also private and secluded. Really felt like you were in nature. Properly was excellently maintained. Clearly very well looked after, and very clean. It was equipped just as promised, all the amenities as listed. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Kids loved the rec room in the basement. A great getaway!

Had a great Book Club stay!

We had such a nice weekend celebrating my mother-in-law's 60th birthday! The house was so homey, and we loved that it was decorated for Christmas! It was fun to walk around and explore outside, and it was nice that we weren't too far from Bloomington and Nashville to get some food. We would definitely stay here again!

Sad that our old fave property is no longer available, but this was great. Our experiences with Eric’s properties have been excellent.

We walked in and immediately felt very comfortable in this beautiful cabin! We were excited to find several various types of coffee pots- they have a Keurig, a normal coffee pot, and a pour over. We brought food for our dinners and found every type of pot/ pan we needed. The fireplaces upstairs and downstairs instantly made the cabin feel even more cozy if possible. We brought our own wood for the fire pit outside and enjoyed several evening fires and beautiful weather. Oliver Winery is less than 20 minutes away and we were excited to also find Butler Winery close to the cabin as well. This is such a great location for any groups looking to explore Bloomington or Brown County, Indiana- close proximity to both making it the ideal rental! Thanks so much for such an easy booking and stay. We'd love to return again with family!

We take a cabin trip every fall and this was our favorite one yet! Cabin was easy to find but still very private with great views. Wifi and streaming services were a nice addition. Kitchen had everything we needed and more to stay in and enjoy the cabin. Every bedroom was spacious with plenty of bathrooms. Hot tub was wonderful and all the different patios and seating allowed us to enjoy the view. We plan on returning to this cabin next year!

Our group had a lovely time here for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the peaceful patio, grill, and hot tub. The place was super clean and comfortable. It came stocked with all the kitchen essentials. We enjoyed the location close to Nashville and Lake Monroe. We would absolutely love to come back here!

Paradise View was exactly what our family was looking for. Nice and peaceful with lots of amenities to make our stay wonderful. We loved sitting by the fire, playing corn hole, boating at Lake Monroe and spending the afternoon at the Oliver Winery. There was a lot to do in the area, but our favorite part was just enjoying the beauty at the cabin. It was spacious and well stocked. We loved that we could bring our 2 dogs who enjoyed it I think as much as we did. Eric made the entire process easy and was always quick to respond. Thanks for the amazing memories!!

This house can keep your family entertained! They have a fabulous game room, the hot tub, giant jinga and connect 4... and more! The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful and the house is fantastic. Well equipped, well laid out, super cute and comfortable. It's really close to Lake Lemon but only 20 minutes from campus. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely setting. Plenty of outdoor seating areas, and plenty of open areas inside for gathering as well. Very well stocked with all amenities considered for guests. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Really great getaway place. Nice, cozy and a really relaxing cabin with alot of fun activities to do inside. The Hot Tub, pool table, shuffle board, foosball table are all fun. The kitchen was really well equipped. All the bedrooms were really clean, as well as the bathroom. This was our first stay in a cabin and we all had great fun.

We had a great stay enjoying the amenities in the house and going for walks in yellowwood state forest.

Eric's place was just what we needed for a few days getaway. Plenty for the kids to keep occupied, beautiful scenery, and enough space for us all to relax! While quiet, peaceful and away from most people, it was close enough to Nashville and Bloomington that if we needed anything, it was a 15 minute drive to get it.

Beautiful cabin with great attention to detail. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very thoughtfully stocked with more than you could imagine you needed. Great communication with Moondance employees. The first night the hottub had no power and they came out promptly the next day and fixed it. We will definitely stay here again. We would love to come back in warmer weather so that we can take advantage of the awesome outdoor spaces as well. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy different activities. Loved the 2 fireplaces and all of the gaming tables in the basement. Again this cabin was beautiful. Thank-you for an wonderful extended girls weekend stay.

Cabin was beautiful and such a fun friends weekend

I wanted a relaxing mini vacation with family & I was not disappointed! Cabin was very clean & outside deck was gorgeous! Lots of outside seating with lovely views. We enjoyed our stay very much. The fire pit area was also very nice overlooking the woods.

We loved it! The house has something for everyone. It’s spacious, clean, nice basement with games, comfortable beds, large open floor plan, beautiful fire pit and room outdoors, close to Brown County State Park. Five star place we can’t wait to stay at again.

The whole experience was great.

You can be sure this will be an awesome place that is tucked away through beautiful windy roads, a beautiful and big cabin, great for 6 people (we were 4 in our group) and pet friendly! Well equipped with an awesome game room and house speakers to keep the party going. We loved it!

The property was amazing, beautiful cabin and gorgeous setting. Everything was as pictured. Kitchen was well equipped, there were lots of activities for everyone. We will definitely return.

So nice. The place allowed for adult family members to each have their own bedroom. Wide open family gathering spaces. Lots of opportunities to interact with games (pool, shuffleboard, etc..). It was a great place to spend a long weekend with extended family. The unit was clean and inviting. We enjoyed meals on the outdoor table and sitting around the fire pit. Beautiful location to relax and get away!

This is a perfect little getaway. Tucked off a very nice winding road. We had a blast. We took a spur of the moment mid-week getaway. So many amenities available in this home. It was probably one of the most well stocked Airbnb’s that we have ever been to. It really is a beautiful home. I enjoyed grilling steaks, making breakfast in the mornings and our pup enjoyed being able to hang out on the patio at her leisure. The hot tub was absolutely an added bonus! We also really enjoyed the nightly games of pool in the basement. There are JBL Bluetooth speakers in every room. The TV channels are already logged in so there is no requirement to sign in/out. We were able to go to the Marina on the second day and rented a pontoon boat. ( Easy 15 min drive.) The owner, Steve, was very accommodating and friendly. Overall great stay. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Coolest house yet

We recently spent two glorious nights in the Paradise View Cabin. We wanted a quiet place to work so our team of teachers could do some planning and brainstorming. This cabin was the perfect answer! It was gorgeous, comfortable, and plenty of work space both in and out in a quiet surrounding. Once our work day was through, there was time for games, hot tub, and s'mores by the fire! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place and can't wait to go back next year!

This place was precisely what we were looking for; a beautiful, spacious and peaceful spot for our family to relax and spend some time together. We really enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard table. The kitchen was also nice for cooking together and sharing our meals. There was plenty of room for everyone. It felt so far away yet still convenient to Bloomington or Nashville. I highly recommend!

This location is convenient for a trip to Lake Lemon or the surrounding area. The house was full of amenities which were good for a group to just hang out for the weekend and be entertained at the house.

The cabin was located in a gorgeous wooded area with very little traffic.The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed and more.We will be back for sure.

This cabin was by far the nicest, best equipped and most spacious cabin my family has stayed in. It was the perfect size for us. There was lots to do and we enjoyed sitting out on the large front deck along with the decks off of the bedrooms; we had a wonderful time. The new firepit was great! The overall experience from booking, communication with the host, managers, owners, etc. to check out was fantastic! We hope to return.

We had a great time in this spacious cabin in the woods! The decks are great and there was even a baby deer nestled underneath. It’s close enough to things you need but still feeling secluded.

We had a 2 night stay to celebrate Mother's Day and had a marvelous time. My mom is 73 with a bad hip, so the ground level bedroom was a necessity for her. There were 5 of us on this trip, and everyone said the beds were comfortable and had no complaints. The game room was a lot of fun and the hot tub was clean and a very welcome bonus. Communication with Eric was always accurate and he got back to me quickly. The checkout procedure is posted on the fridge and came in handy on the day of our departure. We are already planning another stay at the same property. Thanks!

Thank you Moondance, I’m not much for reviews, but we’ll deserved 5 star for our stay at Paradise View Lodge. Beautiful stay from start to finish. Very well supplied with everything you could need from kitchen supplies to outdoor games for kids and adult. We stayed a full week and never became bored. I would definitely recommend Moondance, friendly staff, easily contacted, and the cabin was clean inside and out.

We had a great weekend at this beautiful house that is only 20 minutes from IU. The house was perfect for a multi-generational gathering. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and very comfortable beds. The scenery from the many windows was beautiful!! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and much fun was had in the game room in the basement. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this property for a family getaway!!

The house was perfect for our 2 families. The lower level made for a great teen hangout, and we had plenty of space to hang out on the main floor too. Even though the weather wasn't fully cooperative, we all enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, exploring, and made many family memories during our stay. Loved having the outdoor games to play too!

Eric’s place was just perfect for a quiet get away. In the hills of southern Indiana, away from everything but a nice ride to the cute town of Nashville. His place is very clean, and everything you need to enjoy a quiet weekend or even week of get-away time.

Great place!

This was a fantastic home away from home for our family during our spring break to visit the Brown County area. The home was clean, and the amenities were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was spacious and lovely, and had everything we could ever need. Loved the hot tub and games downstairs, beds were comfortable, and the wrap around deck with string lights provided a peaceful outdoor space for us to relax both day and night. We hope to return sometime soon!

Super cute cabin, an easy drive to Nashville!

We had a wonderful time at Paradise View cabin this past weekend (Nov 25-30, 2020). It was sooo spacious. The grandkids loved the pool table - foosball table - table suffleboard as well as the hills and valleys to explore. The bathrooms were all large enough as well as the bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with a lot of the necessities. No need to bring any kitchen gadgets or towels for the kitchen or bathrooms. All the tv's had Roku on them to download apps and watch the programs you are already subscribed to. There is also DVD players. Since we stayed over Thanksgiving, it was a special touch to see 3 Christmas trees lite up when we pulled in the driveway. It was a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back again. Thank you Moondance for a great get away.

Beautiful views from this cabin and it is close to lots of parks for hiking and close to Nashville and IU. Great location and perfect for a family. Lots of fun games in the basement including pool table, foosball, and table shuffleboard. We enjoyed it!

It is huge and surrounded by trees. Very private and quiet. The rocking chairs on the balconies make for a great spot to relax! This place is perfect for groups large and small especially with all of the different entertainment options in the basement. We would definitely come back!

Located in a beautiful scenic area close to local lakes and state parks. Short drive to shops, restaurants and Hard Truth distillery. Wonderful place for a relaxing getaway.

Perfectly situated to enjoy both downtown Nashville and Bloomington. You’d never know how close you were to either because the location is so serene.

Lots to do from the pool table, foosball, corn hole, hiking paths, or just sitting in front of the TV. One of the best-stocked kitchens for cooking utensils and devices. Beds were comfortable, house was quite clean. Would definitely encourage anyone to stay.

A gorgeous, huge, cabin-in-the-woods (literally) with porches or balconies off almost every room. Quiet area with very little traffic and no visible neighbors due to the tree coverage. Gorgeous wooded area, game room, and the fire pit were highlights of our group!
