Grand Cabin

This is a great place to stay while visiting beautiful Nashville!! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and very roomy. We stayed for our family vacation and had plenty of space for everyone! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and well kept. It’s only 5 minutes from downtown Nashville but is very private and secluded. Definitely recommend staying here!!

The place was great! Went with some friends. Very clean and relaxing. Had all the amenities we needed. Great layout of the home and very spacious for our group. Would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin near Nashville! The place was spotless, well-stocked, and surrounded by peaceful woods—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It felt private yet was only a short drive to downtown Nashville for shops, restaurants, and anything else you’re in the area for. Eric was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. The house is just as described, with lots of space for a big group. The billiard room, large dining room, extra game table room, and expansive outdoor areas with tons of recreation options make it great for big multi-age groups. Our grandkids really enjoyed the billiard room and the fishing pond! The bathrooms were spotless and well stocked with towels. Bedding and linens were nice and appropriate for the season. Our family prefers firmer mattresses - so our only note would be that the mattresses in the king and queen rooms were very soft for our tastes, but that didn’t impact our overall love of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring Nashville. We hope to return in the fall!

We had a great stay that included grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. For anyone who is interested, there were 2 bedrooms located on the main floor…other 3 bedrooms were upstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and night time bonfires. Host was quick to respond. It was an enjoyable long weekend.

We had a great family stay at the Grand Cabin. The hosts do a fantastic job of providing kitchen supplies, outdoor patio, furniture and hot tub are top notch. It’s also very close to Nashville and Brown County State Park, making it easy to go to shows, visit the local shops and restaurants, go hiking.

I had a wonderful stay. Everything was as advertised and I would recommend for any large groups. There was plenty of room for any activities with a playground outside for the kids.

What a great place nested in the hills. Completely private, friendly neighbors. Beautiful scenery and every accommodation you could imagine. We will be back! Loved that Eric offered to bring flowers and even left us a card since we were celebration. So very thoughtful.

Great cabin for our family! Loved the hot tub and pool table. Having two fridges was nice. Would love to return when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy all the outdoor spaces!

The Grand Cabin was roomy, in a beautiful setting and well stocked. It was decorated for our Christmas stay which was so appreciated. The beds were very comfortable.
The hot tub somehow lost water but too late to contact Eric so we used the hose to add water.
Our family truly enjoyed our stay.

We had our first Friendsgiving at the Grand Cabin. We were all very impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies. We had everything we needed to serve multiple dishes. The decor is a bit outdated, but worked. The kids enjoyed the playground. We would definitely return!

Very comfortable, spacious, and great location.

This was our 2nd year here, we loved it but it is too hard for us older people to get to the camp fire which we love so we have already booked the Farm House for next year. We were very satisfied with the rest of the Grand except for the fire pit issue. Thank you for a wonderful time with our grown Children and their spouses. There were 10 adults and we had plenty of space for all.

Was an awesome place to stay!

We had a blast at the cabin. My friends from LA, Boston, and FL loved it. they experienced something they had never done or been before. It was private and quiet, and very comfortable. We all agreed we would do that same one again. Thank you very much for a so enjoyable week.

Very nice place.

Eric’s place was just as described! Peaceful, secluded, beautiful property. A nice little fishing pond where our great granddaughter caught a big bass! She also got to feed the fish! We also saw some deer running through the yard. The house is big enough to get lost in:) Nice clean house with lots of rooms to choose from. The beds were a little softer than what we normally use, but we still slept good. I would highly recommend the Grand Cabin!

This was our second timing staying at Eric's place. We will be back again next year. The location is wonderful. The cabin is a great size. The cabin is clean and with several provided amenities.

Our cabin was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with any utensils or pot and pan that you would ever need. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and convenience of being close to Nashville! I would definitely recommend this place and would return!

very beautiful place!

We had a group running a relay in the area and needed a place to hold 9 people. The house was a great size and had the number of beds and bathrooms we needed to be comfortable. We were able to cook together and have dinner at the house both evenings and everyone had plenty of space.

Grand cabin was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Perfect balance of privacy with accessibility to Little Nashville. It exceeded our expectations.

We stayed in the Grand for a few days over Spring Break Mar. 2024.
The cabin is so spacious and laid out wonderfully for a big family! The family is amazing with the 2 sectional couches!! The pictures Airbnb shows is not what it looks like. So much nicer!!

The hot tub was amazing after a day on the trails!

No need to bring anything as far as towels, garbage bags, kitchen towels, paper towels, toilet paper or dishwasher pods... all was abundantly supplied!

There are only 2 tv's in the cabin...1 was not working... they tried to fix it. Eric did the right thing by giving us a bit of a discount each night for the inconvenience!

Overall, we loved the Grand Cabin and would come back.

We look forward to coming back next year.

This cabin was perfect for our office retreat. Plenty of beds, great common areas to watch tv and relax and play games.
Kitchen was large and very well appointed, two refrigerators, spacious bathrooms as well.
We will definitely be back.

Great location. Huge log home, comfortable for our group of 10.

We rent a cabin every year for our 5 Adult Children and spouses, we needed an extra bedroom this year so got this one with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and lots of space inside and out on patios and porches. Saw deer right in the backyard. Some went fishing in the pond, caught a couple of little ones. All in all we had a great time. Will probably be back next year. Thank you.

The cabin is great! It is so close to everything but when your at the cabin you are in the woods and it is so relaxing. We will be back!

The house was wonderful, perfect for our large group. We really loved all the amenities, the pool table and fire pit were big hits!

Cabin was well-appointed to fit 7 adults & 1 child. Plenty of room to spread out & enjoy meals together.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Some parts of the cabin showed some age and different additions to the home, but all was clean. Might need to bring your own bathroom amenities, but other than that, everything was great.

It was a fun family weekend!

Over 35 years ago, my Girlfriend and I would meet in Nashville, IN. We had our 35th with our children and their families to join us. The Cabin was immaculate, the surroundings were beautiful, and most importantly no Drama. Effortless. Big thank you to the wonderful people I dealt with at Moondance Vacation Rentals. It made it so easy. We'll be back!

Room for us our kids and grandkids to relax and make memories. Great location! We look forward to staying again in the future.

We enjoyed this cabin for our family vacation. Just as described and the amenities were so much fun! Loved the catch and release pond and our son even caught his first fish. Relaxing and quiet cabin. The host was great with communication. Definitely worth a stay!

We had a wonderful time at Grand Cabin for our family Christmas! There was plenty of room & it was very clean. (no complaints from anyone) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc. Maybe could have a keriug coffee maker along with the regular one? Thank you so much! Lots of memories made!

Booked new place to stay for our annual trip. This place worked great, plenty of room for our large group, a lot of privacy, and convenient to downtown Nashville. We will be booking again.

This cabin has all the space you could need. A well-stocked kitchen with two fridges, great pool/ game room, huge living room, two dining rooms, and a great large hot tub. It was everything our large group needed. The bedrooms were all super convenient as well. We highly recommend this cabin!

Large house and area so everyone has their own space, and very quiet inside and out. Big catch and release pond and a nice play set for the kids, both of which are close to the patio so you can sit and keep an eye on everyone. Close to town and easy to find.

This house had a ton of room, was quiet and more secluded, and was the perfect location for our girls trip. We could be in Nashville or Brown County state park in less than 10 minutes. There is a small grocery store and Hard Truth distillery within 5 minutes. The hot tub was great after hiking and the kitchen was well-stocked. The sectionals in the living room were comfortable and one of our favorite spots because we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The communication with the host was fantastic. Would rent from him again.

The Grand Cabin is roomy and well-appointed for a large family get-away. It is in a beautiful wooded, secluded location, but so close to the downtown Nashville shops and family activity venues such as Disc Golf course, Golf course, Brown County State Park (horseback riding, swimming pool, trails, Abe Martin Inn), Yellowwood State Forrest (trails, lake, fishing), ziplines, ATV trails, paintball, and more. At the cabin you'll find corn hole, play ground, firepit, fishing pond, pool table, and hot tub. Kitchen, dining, and beds are well-appointed for large groups. Hard Truth Distrillery and restaurant (make reservations) are located two "hollars" away.

Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Cabin. Perfect location just outside Nashville. Plenty of room, kitchen with two refrigerators and nice hot tub! We enjoy the large patio and fire pit. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We are nature lovers, and heard lots of different birds and saw lots of deer. The great room is wonderful and comfortable. Hot tub was great, too! I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely property for a casual affair. Beds were comfortable as well as the sectionals. A having 2 refrigerators was a bonus. The hot tub was a treat after a long day as was the firepit. Only thing is I wish there was a iron

Location is fantastic! It's close to town, yet very private. The setting is beautiful with lovely trees and plenty of space. The house was good for our girls weekend. All 5 of us had our own rooms which was nice. We didn't even use all of the space in the house, it was so big. The kitchen was big enough for us to cook easily. There's 2 refrigerators, so plenty of room. There is no ice - so be sure to pick some up on your way there. Bedrooms were well stocked with hangers, nightstands and comfy beds. We really enjoyed the house!

We were close to everything. Hard Truth Restaurant was right down the road.

This is a great place to stay! This is our second time here and will book it again! Great location; close to town but you feel like you are out in the country. Furniture was new since the last time we stayed. We don’t have any complaints about our stay!

The Grand cabin was the perfect location for our three generation weekend together. There was something for everyone to do. The little girls all loved to fish, we had wonderful dinners on the grill, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax, and we took day trips to Nashville, the TC Steele museum, and the Bloomington / IU campus. Unfortunately, there was so much rain the first night that the road to the cabin was underwater and was not safe to cross (our son couldn’t drive in until the following day). No one to fault but Mother Nature, and everything was back to normal by the next morning. I would definitely recommend Grand for a large family stay. We all had a very nice time.

Exceeded expectations! The rooms are very large, the house was super clean, and the a/c worked great. Very nice vacation house for large groups.

Wonderful location for my family to gather for a relaxing weekend. We all loved it from ages 1 to 60. The home is huge, clean, and well stocked. The outdoor area is everything we could have wanted or needed. Fishing in the pond, playing bags, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars were some of our favorites. We hope to return. Great location and very close to town. Book it. You won’t regret it!

Perfect space for business retreat and meetings.

Enjoyed the hot tub and had a fire in the fire pit one night. My nephew had a great time in the fenced-in playground area. Book now! You won’t be disappointed.

We rented the Grand Cabin for a crew of 14! 7 couples from around southern Indiana who don't get together often enough! It was just what we needed! Fairly secluded, everything we could need for a weekend and space to all hang out together! Thank you so much! We will be coming back!

This place is filled with character and unique decor. We really enjoyed using the fire pit and sitting outside on the patio so sip our morning coffee. Our dog enjoyed finally getting to go on a vacation with us as well!

Excellent location for downtown Nashville but still very quiet setting. Also a very good space for a large group. We had a ladies weekend and there were 7 of us. Easily room for many more. Lots of towels provided and you could tell cleanliness was important to them!

We stayed at the Grand Cabin and it was fabulous! Very spacious rooms. Great scenery! Wonderful customer service! Very helpful when we needed supplies and when making future reservations!

We had a great time at Grand Cabin! There were 12 of us, including five children, but we felt we had plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home. Everyone had beds, which is a big plus compared to other cabins where the kids have to sleep on uncomfortable air mattresses. The cabin was fully stocked with basics, all we had to do was bring food! We enjoyed the fire pit, and the glider on the back deck. It was a great place to relax and unwind away from the stress and craziness of graduation weekend in Bloomington. We are already planning for our next Grand Cabin getaway. I have also recommended your cabin to others.
