Constructed from timbers from other log cabins this place not only have the rustic appeal but was crafted inside as a clean, highly functional, modern living space. We so enjoyed Eric’s cabin. Peaceful surroundings, comfortable bed and just simply lovely. So enjoyed swinging on the front porch while a light rain played in the background. We will definitely return in the fall. Location was great!

I rented this cabin for Mother’s Day as a surprise for my parents. It was lovely and I absolutely enjoyed spending the weekend with my family. Thanks for everything. I would definitely stay again and recommend this garden cabin.

This was a lovely place to spend my first few nights with my most amazing wife. We had so much peace here and was able to refocus and focus on each other. Cutest little cabin and just loved every minute there. Great place to make your own path and explore.

The Garden Cabin is beautiful and comfortable. We found it well furnished and well stocked with nearly everything one could need. We enjoyed the wooded setting and spent some time hiking around. We noticed and appreciated several angels in the cabin as part of the decor. We found some leather remnants while shopping in Nashville and I used a piece of it to create a small leather angel of our own. We left it hanging on the wall from an unused nail that was already there. We had no issues because the camp was not active during our stay but the description did not include that this cabin was located on the Palawopec campground property. Overall we really loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay there. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 37th anniversary!

A charming little cabin in a beautiful little valley.

The Garden Cabin is peaceful, well decorated, and spotless! I have stayed in many cabins, and I know how hard it is to not have any bugs or cobwebs around when you are in that type of environment. I was very impressed! It is only 10 mins away from the shops, grocery store, pharmacy, and the Brown County State Park entrance. I hope to comeback and stay again!

The Garden Cabin is the first place I’ve ever stayed that I would without a doubt choose to stay at again! It was peaceful, beautiful, smelled delightful, and the most relaxing trip of my life. The bed was cozy, the WiFi worked well, and the porch was perfect for morning coffee and reading.

Highly recommend the restaurant owned by the family that owns the cabin (Farmhouse Cafe I think?) and we had a man named Michael come set up in cabin massages.

The outdoor shower wasn’t operational yet for the season (it was April) so keep that in mind if that’s something you really care about, but the clawfoot tub was delightful.

The cabin was everything you could ask for. Short walking distance from a creek, meadow and forest trails. There were also a couple horses that were a treat to visit. The cabin was super cozy. It does have a tin roof which was a bit loud during a rainfall but some people love this! It does have a peaceful sound. Would for sure stay again.

This was such a lovely get-away for the weekend. The Garden Cabin is quaint and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked for preparing meals and there were plenty of bath linens available. Everything was clean and in good working order. We just wish the weather had been cooperative to allow us more time to enjoy both the front and back porches. 5 stars!

The cabin was beautiful and I love the history of how it was made. They have a binder that tells you everything you need to know and more. It was so beautiful and peaceful I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the surroundings. We had a short jammed packed mini anniversary but loved every minute of it.

My husband and I will be back to Eric's beautiful log cabin. We are so glad that my niece and her husband were married at the Abe Martin Lodge amphitheater to introduce this part of Indiana to us. We have a new area to re-visit and enjoy the area again.

The cabin was so clean and exactly as described. It was so serene and peaceful. The outdoor shower was amazing. Had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip, but does not provide shampoo/toiletries so bring your own! If you forget yours like I did, no worries cus there are plenty of places to buy some. Will definitely return!

The cabin is adorable and as described. Eric was very responsive and helpful. Do note the steps are steep to the bedroom loft, if that matters for you. If you like the look and idea of a cabin, I highly recommend this one.

Perfect getaway for a couples weekend.

Wow! We feel very blessed to have stayed at this beautiful cabin for three nights. Thiis was our first trip to Brown county and it did not disappoint. The cabin is absolute perfection. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace for hours on a snowy weekend, and are already planning our next trip back!

This was such a sweet oasis for my husband and my’s Christmas getaway. The stone fireplace, quaint kitchen, timeless bathtub, and cozy loft all added to our extreme time of rest. The minimal screens allowed us to truly turn the outside world off as we faced the woods and beauty around us. Lots of time with the Lord, reading, worshipping, playing games, cooking food, and more. And of course, the dogs from next door were an added bonus ha!

This was THE cutest cabin! Seriously we did not want to leave. The cabin was so clean for being an antique cabin, and the decor was so well done. It felt so homey and cozy and the camp it’s on is beautiful!
