Big Sky Cabin

We had an relaxing long weekend at Big Sky! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. This was our second stay at Big Sky for our group of eight. The layout of the cabin works out great for us with plenty of room to spread out.
The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, with easy access to downtown Nashville and Brown County State Park. Check-in was smooth, communication was quick and friendly, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to unwind close to Nashville. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our first year at Big Sky Cabin. The cabin is beautiful. There is plenty of room, amenities, etc. the playground was an exciting element for our grandchildren. We felt safe and they loved running around outside. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen, great appliances and is a great space. The bedrooms are spacious and my adult children loved the recreation room. This cabin has plenty of bathrooms so no one had to wait!! Simply said this cabin is a perfect place for a family Christmas celebration or any family celebration and we will be going back next year. Thank you for a very pleasant and memorable experience.

Our third year staying at the Air BnB and it was a wonderful time again! Eric provides clear instructions before the trip and is available anytime during the stay via the app. As expected, the house was in great shape - every bathroom was clean and the kitchen was ready to cook in. Cleaning products are available so you can do the dishes during your stay and paper towels are nearby in case you've forgotten something. It's essentially turnkey if you bring food and want to just cook all weekend.

The hot tub was on and ready to be used. Towels were clean and in every bathroom. Televisions upstairs and down and connected to streaming services - no issues with the WiFi either. If you have a group that wants to be away (but close to Nashville/Indy), this spot is consistently great.

It's a great group spot for a weekend of hiking at Brown County State Park and visiting downtown Nashville!

I would love to make a visit to the Cabin an annual occurrence—fantastic and well maintained property that the whole family enjoyed!

Great stay, probably the best I’ve had with an AirBnb. Eric was very responsive throughout our stay. The cabin was spotless. Very peaceful and private. All kitchen appliances worked and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils. I will definitely be back for a long weekend at some point.

We LOVE this place! This is the third total time we've stayed here - we figured the first time was about 12 years ago. The house still looks just as good as it did during our first stay. The house is beautiful inside and the area is beautiful outside as well. It had everything we needed for a fun time for four couples whether we were staying at the house or taking the three minute drive into Nashville for shopping and dining. I can't recommend this place enough!

This house was a perfect place for our girl’s weekend. It was close to town but still felt secluded and peaceful. There were so many thoughtful touches provided that made our stay fantastic. Our group of 8 had a wonderful weekend stay a Big Sky Cabin. The home was very clean and well maintained. The photos and description were accurate, if not better in person! We lucked out with the weather in February and were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities all weekend, making use of the beautiful deck, hot tub and firepit. The location was conveniently located only a few minutes drive to downtown Nashville. We were able to make a quick visit to the Hard Truth Distilling Co. and Big Woods but honestly preferred just hanging out at the cabin as it had so much to do. Everyone in our group was very pleased and would highly recommend. Thanks for a great weekend!

The cabin had so much attention to detail, comfort and something for everyone. It was clean and felt so solidly built.

The kitchen lay out was the best we have had and that it was stocked with everything we needed. The lit staircase was helpful at night. The screen door off the kitchen was so great to let the air in during the day without letting in the bugs. The laundry room space was great for storing our coolers and extra water. The washer and dryer access, wonderful. The upstairs bathroom is great! The bedrooms were very spacious. Loved the desks.

The game to find dollar bills kept us occupied!

Our group was thrilled to stay in this beautiful and cozy cabin. The amenities were all first rate. Every attention to detail went beyond to make our stay 5 stars worthy. Eric kept us informed at every step along the way and any questions were immediately responded to. The owner also lives near by and provided us with a personal tour of the property. He has so much pride and it is certainly deserving. We can’t wait to make a return visit.

Big Sky was absolutely beautiful inside and out!! The pictures do not so it justice!! All the amenities were wonderful especially the patio and fire pit where we enjoyed great memories with friends and family as we gathered to celebrate my sons wedding! Thank you again for the use of this beautiful place and hope to be back!!

Eric's place has a great location, is extremely well kept up, and was a really fun way to get away for a weekend with some old friends. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone!

Just a beautiful place! The home was spotless and even more beautiful in person than the photos. Plenty of games, beautiful deck/patio, and hottub. Lastly, the location is just perfect. No more than a 6 minute drive to downtown Nashville, Brown County State Park, Hard Truth distillery. We’ll be back!

This is the second year I've stayed at this house. The location is beautiful. It is very convenient to downtown Nashville. Eric was a friendly and accommodating host. It is a great buy for the money. Perfect house for a ladies trip.

We had an amazing stay! We loved waking up with the sunrise to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch. Stargazing in the hot tub and having fun playing games! The location was perfect to pop into town for some shopping and wine tasting but overall we loved being at the cabin. It was absolutely ideal for a girls getaway and we can’t wait to do it again!

We came for the weekend with 3 other couples and their kids. The cabin had everything we needed and even extras like a pack n play and a highchair. The outdoor play set was perfect and the hot tub was a relaxing treat. Check in was quick and easy and we were able to just relax and enjoy each others company with a beautiful backdrop of the woods.

We had our annual MLK weekend retreat at Big Sky Cabin this year. It was a good time with good friends. The house was spacious, clean, and cozy. The kitchen by and large met all of our cooking needs for the weekend, the hot tub was a nice amenity and also spacious (as far as hot tubs go), and the pool table, air hockey, and ping pong in the basement provided fun entertainment for the young ones (and those of us still young at heart).

We celebrated our family Christmas at Big Sky Cabin this past weekend. We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Loved the new furniture in the living room and loved the placement of the old furniture in the game room and in the loft. The hot tub was wonderful. The beds are very comfortable! We have gone to Big Sky Cabin for our family Christmas for many years now. We love it!

We rented the Big Sky Cabin for two nights. There were five of us staying. Was very clean and exceptionally well stocked.

You get a big house for a great house. Super nice and clean, first thing we did was the money game and played pool down stairs. Lots of space, good wifi, awesome hot tub.

This property was perfect for 3 adult couples to reconnect over a long weekend. The proximity to Nashville shops and restaurants was perfect. We all loved gathering in the spacious living area to watch football, cooking and eating together in the large kitchen, and relaxing on the decks or around the fire pit. Beautiful setting and house!

Stayed at Big Sky Cabin and it was fabulous. We had a group of eight, and it gave us plenty of room. Really liked nice touches like night lights everywhere. Kitchen had everything you needed. Highly recommend for a stay in Brown County.

This listing was an ideal place for a large group. The house was incredibly clean, well stocked, and comfortable both inside and outside. This was an easy place to hang out and we enjoyed our stay here. Multiple people in our group are already planning future stays with their families and friends.

A truly amazing long weekend! We could not have loved the cabin or property more. The cabin had everything we needed to feel like home away from home! We loved meals on the patio and playing lots of games while watching football. There was more than enough space for adults and kids to run around! Can’t wait for our next stay!

The property is in a perfect location, private but close to Nashville and the park. It’s clean, lovely, and offers a lot of options for entertainment as a group or just relaxing by yourself.

We just returned from a three day family vacation at Big Sky Cabin with our two daughters, one son-in-law and four grandsons. I selected this cabin so everyone would have their own bed! Great accommodations and amenities. Very clean and plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, etc. The pool table, ping pong table, and air hockey table were a hit with the boys. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and we had a fire in the fire pit all three evenings. We even grilled steaks one evening for supper. The swing set was used by two of the boys and having the pack and play and high chair for our 14 month old grandson was great. We all enjoyed it immensely and would love to come again when we can all be together. We met the owner and he was gracious to give us a quick tour of the house when we arrived a bit early for check-in. Plenty of room for all of us and great spaces to relax.

A wonderful cabin filled with lots of entertainment and space to host a bachelorette weekend with six ladies! We had everything we could have ever needed and it was great that it was just a stone's throw from downtown Nashville, IN!

The house was better than the pictures. Incredibly beautiful house and views, close to the state park and Nashville. Be sure to note that you are not renting the whole cabin if you have four people, like we did, the other bedrooms are locked if there are only four. There is a great binder full of great local restaurants and things to do and the state park is just down the road. There is some road noise out on the back deck, but you cannot hear any of it inside. A wonderful week spending time with childhood friends!

Beautiful home, close to town (not safe for walking distance, but a very short drive). Home was clean. I liked their idea of a little craft shop in their upstairs.
Good water pressure in the master shower and in the sinks and the water puts out hot water very quickly.
They have stuff for kids (high chair, play set, etc).
Master bedroom and bathroom are spacious.
Hot tub functional and clean.

Big Sky is amazing! We have stayed in several vacation homes in the Brown County area and this was by far our favorite. Beautiful, clean and so close to the shops but also tucked away. Pool table, ping pong, air hockey, gas grill, hot tub, fire pit, swing set, games, puzzles, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and the dollar game! Well done Eric! We will be back next time we visit!

This cabin is just absolutely wonderful. The location of the cabin is perfect. Our family of 6 was very comfortable. The cabin was extremely clean. The beds had high end linens on them and were very soft and cozy. We spent time around the nice fire pit and made s’mores . We enjoyed the air hockey and ping pong table. The cabin has nice touches throughout. We will definitely rent this cabin again. We loved everything about our stay .

Lovely large home to stay in. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 toddlers. Lots of room to spread out when you need privacy and lots of entertainment areas to gather in when you want to be together. We enjoyed playing games in the lower level, cooking our own meals in the well equipped kitchen, sitting out on the covered back porch, and taking a dip in the hot tub when the kids went to bed for the night. Spacious, spotless, and they have thought of everything you could ever need. We’ve never stayed somewhere with such a well stocked kitchen. We cooked at home the entire time and didn’t want for anything in terms of utensils and cookware.

Big Sky Cabin was the perfect place for our group of friends to get together! It was super clean when we arrived, and the location was just right for what we wanted to do in the area. The kitchen was very well stocked, the furniture was comfortable, and we loved spending evenings on the back deck together - it had a beautiful view and was very peaceful. Everything about the cabin exceeded our expectations!

Eric‘s place was perfect for our family. The location is super convenient to downtown Nashville as well as Brown County State Park. It has a private feel nestled in the woods, but yet just a few minutes from where you want to go. The place was very clean and we loved having the hot tub to enjoy. The swingset, pack n play, and high chair were a huge bonus since we had two toddlers with us. The craftsmanship of the house blew us away as well. The woodwork and furniture were beautiful. We will definitely stay again and are already talking about booking a trip to Eric’s place for next year.

This was the perfect blend of fun and relaxing. So many cute touches to the places and it had everything we needed for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 infant). It was absolutely beautiful inside and out and perfect location to Nashville and Brown County State Park. My son is already planning his next trip back.

We stayed at the Big Sky Cabin in early November and could not have been happier with our stay. The kitchen is gourmet with anything you could possibly need. Due to the pandemic, we brought our meals and cooked together. The weather was warm and we had options of sitting outside at the table. This cabin has it all. The hot tub was so relaxing and we made s'mores on the fire pit. There was even a playground for the kids and a pool table and ping pong for the adults. If you are choosing a location for a getaway, look no further. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Big Sky Cabin for my bachelorette party. Ultimate girls weekend with PJ party, cooking, yoga, hot tub, games downstairs and a trip to the Hard Truth Distillery just a short drive away. The most comfortable beds and pillows with plenty of space for everyone! VERY clean which is always a plus with cabins - this was perfect!

Our group of Cousins spent a great weekend at Big Sky Cabin! It’s comfortable for large groups, beautifully decorated, best kitchen ever, super clean and isolated enough that we can’t disturb anyone with our boisterous card games! The younger ladies enjoyed the hot tub while the rest of us relaxed on the huge rear deck.
Marissa is wonderful to work with on reservations and the Welcome gift is a nice touch.

Big Sky Cabin is so much more than a “cabin”... it is a grand home! Spacious & loaded with amenities, the beautiful retreat is situated on a hilltop, in a wooded area. It is a place of peacefulness and reflection, even though our group was large. Next time I’m in the area, Big Sky will definitely be my “go to” place! Thanks again

Our stay at the Big Sky Cabin this past weekend was perfect! This was our first time at this particular cabin (our group of 5 women have stayed at several of your cabins in the past and have had wonderful experiences every time), and we absolutely loved it. We loved the layout of the cabin; the kitchen was roomy and very well appointed; we utilized the fireplace and loved the cozy feel; we loved the quality of the towels and washcloths; the beds and bedding were comfortable; the cabin was clean and attractive. Truly everything about this home was top notch. We all decided that this is where we want to return time and time again!

We came down with some friends to the big sky cabin and couldn't be more impressed. Very clean and everything functioning properly. Owner was very nice and cooperative. He answered all the questions that we had and really helped us out. Highly recommended!
