The heart of the home is a stunning chef’s kitchen, complete with high-end appliances and everything you need to cook, gather, and enjoy time together. Rural Environment Notice
Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

Base rate for this property is set at 2 people, each additional guest will be charged $30 per person per night.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting the value of your booking. Please review the following terms before making a reservation:

Reservations can be cancelled with no charge or penalty, except for the non-refundable deposit, a full 15 days
prior to the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations within 14 days or less of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded for any reason. All cancellations must be made through the website or through email communication.
**IU Graduation weekend will be non-refundable**

Deposit Policy

To confirm a reservation Moondance Vacation Rentals requires a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to be paid at the time the dates are secured. (Notice: Effective 01/01/26 the nonrefundable deposit will increase to $100.) This deposit goes toward the reservation total. Taxes and processing (18%) and the damage waiver fee will be added to the rental amount. Payment in full is required 7 days prior to the check in date. (Notice: Effective 01/01/26 we will require payment in full 14 days prior to your stay.) Moondance Vacation Rentals will automatically charge the balance due to the original card on file 7 days prior to the check in date. Reservations made within 7 days of the check in date will be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. Special arrangements can be made if paying by cashier’s check or cash but the entire balance must be received 10 days before the check in date.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with fresh, clean linens.

The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Nashville. What really stood out were all the thoughtful little touches. I had forgotten my makeup mirror, but to my surprise they had one available, along with so many other small conveniences you don’t always think about until you need them.

You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into making their guests feel at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We are already planning our next day and hope that this home is available.

House was amazing and clean! Loved all the upgraded amenities and all the little details you need but don’t think about packing. Hot tub was great and we were super close to all the shops downtown. Outside of the bed in master bedroom being a little too firm for our taste, everything else was amazing! We’d definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and have already talked about visiting again. The location is private and beautiful and the small downtown area was exactly what we were looking to find. The house is clean and is well stocked with exactly what you need- no more, no less. Thoughtful design and tasteful details led this to be one of our favorite locations!

Everything about the place was perfect. Very comfortable including the bed. Not too close to town, but close enough to walk to dining and shopping. Loved the kitchen even though we didn't cook too much. Hot tub was perfect and even had a deer visit us on the last night. We'll choose this house again.

They saved the day for us!! I can not express enough my gratitude ❤️. We arrived late the night before to find our original place had been flooded. Late at night in a storm we had to cancel. The next morning, the day of our son's wedding, we found them. it was the most relaxing part of our trip.

This place was absolutely perfect! Great location in relation to downtown Nashville and Hard Truth Distillery, less than a 5 minute drive to both. Very clean, brand new appliances, and the hot tub was a nice addition, plus it is pet friendly. Eric was a great host. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

10 Cottage Roof was located conveniently. Easy walk to shops and restaurants in Nashville.
The cottage was like new, welcoming and spotless.
The attention to details was appreciated from the chocolates left on the kitchen counter to the fresh bag of coffee.
High end appliances made it enjoyable to cook in and then enjoy the hot tub and fire pit.
Private front and back porches were the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine.
We would rate it a 10!!!
