Rural Environment Notice:
Our cabins are nestled in Monroe County’s nature. While we maintain cleanliness, seasonal pests like mice and lady beetles may occasionally appear, especially in fall and spring. We appreciate your understanding as part of the rural experience!
PET-FRIENDLY: $75 fee per pet, with a portion donating to the Brown County Humane Society.
Fireplaces are seasonal from October 1st - April 1st.
ALL EVENTS AND PARTIES REQUIRE PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting the value of your booking. Please review the following terms before making a reservation:
Reservations can be cancelled with no charge or penalty, except for the non-refundable deposit, a full 15 days
prior to the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations within 14 days or less of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded for any reason. All cancellations must be made through the website or through email communication.
Cancellation Fee
• A cancellation fee of $50.00 will apply to all cancellations. (Effective: 01/01/26 our cancellation fee will increase to $100)
Refund Guidelines
• 100.00% refund if 15 days before arrival (minus the cancellation fee).
Deposit Policy
To confirm a reservation Moondance Vacation Rentals requires a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to be paid at the time the dates are secured. (Notice: Effective 01/01/26 the nonrefundable deposit will increase to $100.) This deposit goes toward the reservation total. Taxes and processing (18%) and the damage waiver fee will be added to the rental amount. Payment in full is required 7 days prior to the check in date. (Notice: Effective 01/01/26 we will require payment in full 14 days prior to your stay.) Moondance Vacation Rentals will automatically charge the balance due to the original card on file 7 days prior to the check in date. Reservations made within 7 days of the check in date will be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. Special arrangements can be made if paying by cashier’s check or cash but the entire balance must be received 10 days before the check in date.

Eric was a great host and the Crimson Pine's cabin was exactly what we were looking for on a long weekend away. It was clean and very cozy inside. The location worked out well being close to both Bloomington and Nashville. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was fantastic! The place was spotless, well-designed, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the thoughtful touches throughout the space. What a lovely secluded home in the woods to celebrate our anniversary together. It is a peaceful chalet with a fun variety of entertainment in a rustic environment. We love to cook and the kitchen provided all the amenities needed. You have thought of everything! We really appreciate the high-end KitchenAid appliances. We played scrabble by the fireplace, enjoyed mimosas in the hot tub and warm fire pit with all the smores you provided! Close proximity (18 min) to Bloomington and the B-line bike trails. Thank you for creating a special place to stay. We will be back!

Beautiful quite area, felt secluded even though there were houses on both sides. The cabin was very nice and had all the amenities including kitchen utensils, plates and glassware you would need for a large family dinner. The Hot Tub was very clean with great jets and was under a covered gazebo. The first night we sat in it when it was snowing- temperature was perfect! Fireplace was warm and cozy...A nice relaxing week...Just what we needed to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my hubby's birthday.

We recently spent a few nights here while visiting our son at IU, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed.
The space was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The decor struck the perfect balance between homey and stylish, and the amenities were more than adequate for our needs. We especially loved relaxing in the cozy living room by the fireplace!
Location wise, the property was ideal close enough to shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a peaceful, wooded area that felt like a true retreat. Being only about 15–20 minutes from IU was a huge plus for us as well.
Overall, we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended! ?
