Loved the place and quiet. Excellent views through the bedroom floor to ceiling windows. Really enjoyed the hot tub.

Very cozy cabin with beautiful surroundings. The place was in great condition and incredibly peaceful. It was exactly what I needed to disconnect from work—I had a blast and would definitely visit again.

If you are looking for a cozy getaway with quick access to Nashville, IN this is the place! We enjoyed our stay here and loved the secluded feel of the cabin! Eric is an extremely responsive host and was always there to answer questions!

Redwood is so peaceful and the setting is picturesque; situated on a hill overlooking the lake. It was nice to sit out on the porch and take in the serene surroundings. The cabin is 10 minutes from Nashville where there are lots of shops and restaurants. There are many opportunities for things to do in the area but also the option to do nothing and enjoy being in nature.

Beautiful cabin and private pond! We enjoyed fishing every night while watching all the wildlife around us. The cabin is equipped with everything you can think of! The extremely comfortable bed was a plus! Great location/easy drive to downtown Nashville.

Me and my husband visited the redwood cabin for our anniversary getaway , we had such a wonderful time away from the city life. Lots of wild life, quietness & lots of sight seeing. We sat on the pontoon and watched the fish swim around & watched the sunset.
Eric responded fast with any issues (which there was none) me & my husband has a little scare our check engine light popped on I asked Eric for his recommendation for a local mechanic and he responded fast with his recommendations. If you’re looking to escape the city life I highly recommend the redwood cabin. ❤️ Thank you Eric for having us!

Peaceful and beautiful location in the woods. Cozy home w/ just enough amenities to be comfortable without taking away from the setting. Mini-split AC systems were adequate to keep the temps comfortable despite 90+ outside heat and humidity. Access to pond and platform pontoon were a plus…pond is loaded w/ palm-size bluegills. Will definitely consider another stay in the future!

We booked with Eric for my husband’s birthday. We have never been to Nashville, Indiana. We had so much fun! The house is clean and the whole property is so beautiful! We saw so much wildlife, turkey, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, birds! Our dachshunds couldn’t get enough! The 8 acre pound is so beautiful as well. We enjoyed fishing and watching the dogs swim. The shops are literally ten minutes up the road. So much to do. Fishing, hiking, shopping. We loved the board games and the hot tub. This was worth the money! The bed was really comfortable as well. I will definitely book again with Eric. He is very responsive and nice! Eric made the booking a breeze and gave peace of mind for sure. I definitely recommend this place!

This cabin was just the peaceful getaway we needed! Our dogs loved the water, campfire, and trees. We loved that it was a short drive to Nashville and the antique malls. Truly felt like a break from the city and was so quiet & serene

I could not have been more satisfied with our stay. We wanted a peaceful and private cabin that was close enough to town to enjoy, and this property delivered on every aspect of the hot tub was nice and hot and perfect for mornings and nights with a nip in the air, and the fire pit made evenings nice and toasty. Inside, the cabin had everything we could possibly need: good WiFi and a full kitchen, and it was decorated with plenty of woodsy charm. The town is a quick 5 min drive away, and filled with great shops and restaurants. The property gives you all tje peace and privacy you could ask for, and has plenty of space to go walk around and enjoy the beautiful Brown County nature. I could not recommend it enough!

This place was so magical in the snow. The caretakers made sure the driveway was plowed.

The fireplace was cozy and the perfect spot to unwind. We are excited to bring the family back to this one in the summer.

The Redwood Cabin is a great place to both escape into scenic woodland beauty or to take the very short drive to Nashville for all the shops and restaurants it has to offer. Host offers a beautiful and clean cabin that is very comfortable. Christmas decor was a plus!

A gorgeous place to disappear and feel completely isolated in nature. The fireplace was our favorite part and we hope to return for the view, nature and another romantic secluded get away. And that hot tub!!!

Loved this spot! Super cozy quiet getaway we needed! Our pup loved the fireplace so much! The surrounding land is beautiful and we would love to come back when it's warm enough to use the firepit and enjoy the lake. Bonus was having the hot tub perfectly hot!

This was our second time staying at this cabin and it was just as enjoyable as the first time! With the wind and rain from hurricane Helene, we weren't able to use the pit, but we did take advantage of the front porch and we didn't get wet at all. It was actually very peaceful with the rain. I would definitely recommend Redwood Lake Cabin and I can't wait for our next stay!!

We went on a girls trip to Nashville, IN and stayed at the Redwood Lake Cabin. We loved the place - it was clean and our contact person, Eric, was so helpful and responsive to our questions!

Cabin and location was beautiful. We were surrounded by trees and close to a pond. There are cabins nearby but it was quiet and peaceful. Still within a short drive to Nashville so the perfect spot. Inside was clean and everything you need was included. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

My wife and I had a wonderfull time. The cabin is lovely and well kept. We saw several deer and wild turkeys. We caught and released over 30 fish. We will definitely come back again.

This place is clean & dust free. The outdoor views are great. It was a hot weekend, but we remained comfortable whenever we were inside.
The steep drive up to the house is slightly terrifying the first time because you don't know how much farther you have to go the whole time. But, then you reach the top & breathe a sigh of relief. The next time you climb the hill, it is much easier as you know what to expect.
The ease of getting to Nashville came in clutch as we had a few emergency trips to the pharmacy throughout the weekend.
Overall, all four of us cannot wait to make a return trip.

My wife and I had an amazing time at this wonderfully kept vintage cabin. The entire house was very clean and had all the amenities to help us enjoy the weekend. The lake was a short walk down the hill and had great fishing! The home itself is in perfect distance from downtown Nashville and Brown County State Park. We definitely would recommend this location to any one we knew and we plan on visiting again some day.

Buried in the trees, close to the lake, easy access to town.

The cabin was just like the photos. The property and the surrounding area was even nicer than the photos lead us to believe. To get down to the lake it is a very steep hill. But we did it and totally enjoyed it. The fishing was very fun. We did catch several fish. The front covered porch was one of our favorite places to sit and view the property and relax. The town of Nashville is a very short drive and was very entertaining, fun, and great food. Would strongly recommend Eric and his cabin and the town of Nashville. We will be back again.

Such a cute, homey place! The second bedroom upstairs is a loft style and open to the living room, with a closed bedroom downstairs. We had 4 adults and got comfortably. The property is so beautiful with all the trees and small lake. Loved staying here

This cabin was awesome!! My wife and I came to get away and relax for our 46th anniversary. The cabin was unbelievably furnished!! My wife kept saying it is so cozy and relaxing! We arrived Friday night and it was very dark but our owners were so thoughtful they left lights on inside and out for us. They care about their guests having a good time. Thank you so much!!

We spent 3 days at Redwood Cabin enjoying the scenery, wildlife and all around beauty of the area! The cabin was well furnished and the antique nicknacks fit the ambiance of the cabin’s interior. We enjoyed the campfires each evening and sitting on the covered porch! A most restful and enjoyable time.

A hidden gem in the rolling hills of Brown County! We enjoyed the first weekend of October at Redwood Lake Cabin and everything was wonderful. Property is secluded and quiet, the outdoor spaces from the firepit, to the lake, to the back patio and grilling area, offering lots of space to spread out and enjoy nature. Kitchen is well-appointed and stocked with all utensils and cookware you'll need. We've stayed at many different cabins throughout BC, and this one has become an instant favorite.

We booked the cabin for my husband’s Birthday and couldn’t have had a better time! We loved fishing together at the lake and the pontoon boat was definitely a bonus. The fire pit was great for making s’mores and we brought steaks and grilled out our first night. Perfect place to relax and enjoy time with our family. Will hopefully book again soon!

The Redwood Cabin was an absolute dream. We stayed for a long weekend and it was difficult to go back to reality. The house and property are well maintained. The view from the porch was peaceful and we sat on it for hours. Lake at the end of drive is beautiful and full of fish.

Communication was quick and Property owner even stopped by when motor on pontoon was having issues. So nice and personable! Already looking for a long weekend to book Redwood again!

Our family of four and our dog spent five days enjoying the seclusion and peace at this cozy cabin. My husband and our two sons spent a lot of time fishing and exploring the lake on the little pontoon. If your family enjoys fishing and exploring nature, you can stock up on groceries and be entertained for days! We spent half of a day exploring the shops in Nashville but otherwise we stayed at the cabin. The furniture is comfortable, very cozy feel, and the bed on the main floor is very comfortable! We'll be back!

Redwood Lake Cabin was the cleanest vacation home we've ever stayed at (and we've stayed at a lot)! Beautiful location, well-stocked and fishing off the pontoon boat on the pond was a blast.

We had a truly wonderful experience at the cabin. It’s remote enough for peace and quiet but close enough to pop into downtown Nashville. It was clean, had an amazing layout, it was well stocked, and the owner responded promptly to any questions we had. We have stayed at many cabins around the area and this has been our favorite. We definitely plan on staying here again.

My wife and I stayed at this nice cabin for a extended weekend to get out of Chicago area for a while. Visited nashville indiana a couple of days. Similar to galena and long grove il but not as crowded. Loved the isolated feel of the cabin. Bed was very comfortable. Nice fire place . Watched all the wildlife go by . Would book again

This place is perfect-peaceful and tucked just far enough away to enjoy nature but close enough to enjoy all the quaintness of the area. It sits on a lake which I can only imagine is breathtaking in the fall. The cabin had everything you could need even things you didn't know you needed. We are already planning our next visit to the cabin in the fall.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin - it was just what we were looking for: cozy, serene and very quiet! The cabin is surrounded by trees and just off the water - the views of the water are fantastic!

Definitely make sure you have basic things that you want/need: water, coffee, snacks, etc. because getting to a store could be a tad difficult, especially in the dark or in inclement weather.

Also, it’s is noteworthy that the drive in from Nashville instead of Bloomington as the roads from Nashville are much easier to navigate. Even if you’re coming from Bloomington, you can use your GPS to navigate to Nashville first and then to the cabin from there. This is especially noteworthy if you’re driving a vehicle that isn’t well equipped for tougher roads (like s sports car or small sedan). If you’re driving a SUV, pickup truck or something similar you should be fine either way. But once we realized that the route from Nashville was much easier, we opted to take that in and out each time even it could add 10 mins or so to your trip depending on where you’re going.

Perfect Getaway for our babymoon. The property is beautiful. For an older cabin, it was still very nice, cozy, and had nice furniture and new hardwood floors. Being 8 months pregnant I was super thankful for such a comfortable bed, too! I loved how close it was to everything downtown but far enough out to feel like a true outdoor retreat. I highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. There was a lot of new snow and the views were fantastic. Highly recommend for a sweet, simple & quiet escape.

My husband and I decided to have one last get away before our son is born and this place was PERFECT! Nice and secluded, clean, and they even decorated for the holidays which I thought was cute! Obviously not their fault but there ended up being a bat in our room on the morning we were scheduled to check out so I called the maintenance line and left a message (it was early on a Sunday morning so I didn’t expect anyone to answer). I got a response within 30 minutes saying they were going to get it taken care of!:) overall great experience!

What a peaceful, beautiful, & quiet getaway. Our family truly enjoyed this cabin and location.And the nature - wow - wild turkeys each day, hummingbirds all the birds and nature sounds and a visit from 2 little deer fawns! We don't fish, but enjoyed a walk down to the beautiful pond! And not far to drive into Nashville for some shopping and wine. Thank you for all the little things that you thought of and provided for our stay to make us comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Redwood lake cabin was awesome. Lake was clean and fishing was excellent, nice size bluegill. Cabin is close to town and shopping, and park. Will likely return in the future. Never been disappointed with Moondance.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! The location is awesome! Close to town, but very quiet & secluded. We enjoyed a cruise on the pontoon boat! Also, appreciated how well stocked and maintained the come is. Owners take very good care of it and it shows!
