We enjoyed the quiet and restfulness at the Stage Coach. It truly is an old historic house. The half bath was a convenient extra. I loved the front porch too. The central air worked quite well for cooling down the house down. It is an easy walk to downtown Nashville. If you love old houses, this is a delight!

This was the perfect location to all of the shops in Brown County. It would have been nice had the hot tub had more privacy. It faced a street that was traveled frequently so it was a little uncomfortable.

Close to restaurants and shops but far enough away it was quiet and enjoyable.

Third time staying at Eric’s place and plan on staying again. Great location, very clean, plenty of space and very enjoyable. Great front porch and was able to enjoy a fire in the fire pit. Enjoyed the early morning walks around the neighborhood.

We loved this Charming historic home! The wood plank floors, exposed brick wall and primitive antiques made this 1840’s home feel cozy and original. The couches were soooo soft and comfortable and so were the mattresses on the beds! Bathrooms were modern and the kitchen had what we needed for our weekend stay. It’s the perfect location for walking downtown to eat and shop, which was why we were there.

My family of four stayed for one night. We enjoyed the hot tub, lots of space to play board games and walkable to lots of restaurants and shops.

Eric's place was in an awesome area and it's such a nice town.

This house had a lot of character, great location with parking. So close to the main street, but quiet. Well equipped and we appreciated the fans in each bedroom. There was plenty of space to relax also. We were able to bring our two dogs and walk to the dog park four blocks down.

We had a great stay. Everything extremely clean and well appointed. Great welcome binder with thorough instructions and recommendations of places to eat, things to do, etc. It was raining all weekend so we did not get to use the outdoor amenities other than the cute porch, but that's the luck of the draw. Great location. The house is old, so not surprisingly has a bit of that old house musty smell (you get used to it). In general it was a great place in a superb location and i would stay again. The beds were soooooo comfortable!

The host has taken care to incorporate the history and beauty of the area in the house with local art (photography and watercolor), antiques, and books about the region. We enjoyed the porch swing and comfortable beds, too.

This house offers so much! My sister-in-law and I were super comfortable. Very roomy and clean with all the amenities needed for a lovely 2 night stay. We were within walking distance of everything and, after a quick trip to the local grocer, we didn't move our cars until it was time to check out. All communication with Eric was quick and courteous. I can see booking again here in the future! Thank you, Eric and all involved in making our stay so rejuvenating!

We had a lovely stay at Stagecoach. Really walkable without too much pedestrian traffic in front of the house. Found the historic details charming, beds comfortable and everything was well stocked. Even things the listing said weren't included were available (hairdryer!) and we were grateful for a drip coffee pot in addition to the Keurig.
I don't think there were any surprises, the "downsides" of the place are no secret. There's no dishwasher, the old floors are uneven which didn't bother us, but if you have mobility issues you might need to consider that. Hot tub is closed in on three sides, but you're a bit exposed on one side to the neighbors yard and a quiet street. Still enjoyed it
We appreciated the covered parking spot so we could keep the top off of our Jeep, and loved all of the printed information available, it was nice to look up things to do "the old fashioned way", even if Google might be faster.

This was the perfect location for a mother daughter weekend getaway. The home is cozy with a lot of historic charm and the location is absolutely perfect for walking Nashville. We didn’t have to move the vehicle once!

The hot tub was fabulous and the extra thought of providing robes was appreciated.

I’d love to come back for some front porch sittin to enjoy the peaceful area.

Perfectly placed retreat for our little family. Everything was comfortable and well maintained. Within walking distance of everything in town. We didn’t have to use our car at all.

We had a great time and felt that the home was just as described. We love Brown Co and felt like the location was perfect.

Cozy. Was a bit concerned about a musty smell when we arrived, but remedied with turning on AC and replacing wall air fresheners. House was furnished nicely and beds were really comfortable. Overall a good experience.

Our stay at Stagecoach was perfect! The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to everything we needed. A great way to check out the local scenery. It was so cool to stay in a little piece of Nashville history as well. The house was so cute with style using antiques. Very homey. It was nice to be able to bring the pups along as well.

We loved our stay at this historical home. It had so much charm and we loved all the historical details the owners kept when they updated. It was a great location where we could walk everywhere. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch with our dog. The inside was clean. we would definitely stay here again.

this was the perfect little house for a weekend getaway! great location and has everything you need in it. we had our toddler and dog with us and everything was walkable and easily accessible for the whole family. Eric was responsive to questions and very friendly - we have no complaints!

This is a great find. The house has good amenities with lots of charm. If you are looking for a new and modern location, this may not be for you. But if you are looking for a well cared for, clean historic place to say this is for you. Really enjoyed our stay.

My wife & I decided to spend the weekend of our 22nd anniversary in Nashville, IN as we had spent one of our earliest anniversaries there. Check in/check out was very easy. Property was clean, rustic & historically unique to the area. Perfect location for walking about town.

Double bed was softer. Perfect hottub spot for watching stars at night. Host provided a few snacks and coffee.

Wonderful place! We had a beautiful getaway for my husband and I, and we chose to stay here. The house was a beautiful historic home filled with everything we needed. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and both bathrooms were clean. We could walk easily to anywhere in Nashville downtown, and it was a short drive to the distilleries as well as really good hiking in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was clean and tastefully decorated. We had no idea how close to town it actually was. It is located on one of the back streets. We walked everywhere without worrying about parking. The home transported us back to a quieter, simpler time, yet with modern amenities. It was our first trip to Nashville, Indiana for daughter’s wedding. We hope to return again and will remember this rental.

The Stage Coach house is the perfect place to stay! Great walking distance to downtown Nashville!! The host supplies plenty of towels, tp, blankets etc. for 4 people. The house is spacious, clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed while celebrating a father/daughter weekend.

We stayed at The Stagecoach and it was all about location! We walked 1 block to all the great shops and restaurants in Nashville. Our rental was very close to the State Park as well. Great beds and our rental was very clean. Easy to check in and courteous staff. Would definitely rent from Moondance again!

The cabin was a great getaway for a quiet stay. I especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The gas fireplace added to a perfect movie night.

Adorable house with tons of charm and the location cannot be beat! I went with my best friend for a girls getaway and we had an amazing time. The house is cozy and the couches are so comfortable. The area is also very quiet and I felt extremely safe!

The only negative was we were really excited to use the hot tub and planned on spending most nights out there. We only used the hot tub once due to the cover being ripped, making it difficult to put back on.

If you’re like me and can’t sleep without a fan…they have 2 box fans available for you to use. They also had a Roku which made it easy to relax in the evenings.

If you want amazing charm and fabulous location, look no further. A very cute, historic home in the heart of Nashville. I was easily walkable to all the downtown had to offer. Comfortable couch for lounging and reading, beds were also comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus. Customer service was excellent, highly recommend.

Stagecoach 1840 is the PERFECT place to stay if you are visiting Nashville, or anywhere in brown county. It was within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. The beds and couches were very comfortable, and there were personal touches such as the firepit already having wood in it and prepared for a fire, and water in the fridge. We also enjoyed reading about the history of the home. We will definitely be staying again!

You've found it! This is the perfect spot to be in Nashville! Walkable, yet quiet and peaceful. Easy jaunt to the main drag, plenty of cozy seating and relaxing areas to kick back. Bright living space with comfy sofas and comfortable beds as well. We felt lucky to have found this spot amid the various options for lodging in town.

We were pleasantly surprised about how well equipped the Stagecoach House is. The kitchen had all of the necessary pots, pans, and utensils to prep meals. The living room furniture is very comfortable and the room is full of light. The beds were comfortable with decent pillows. Plenty of towels. Robes, slippers, and towels were provided for the hot tub, however, we did not use it. Great location with off-street parking. Will return. The reservation process and communication were all flawless.

Please note there is no washer and dryer just in case you plan to pack light. There was a large yard which my son really enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a small wedding and then had a mini-moon at this cabin. So cute! We loved everything, cozy, smelled good, close to all the shops. We woke up and walked the shops each day. One day we took the car 5 minutes to the State Park to go hiking. Such a special cabin 🙂 There is a full kitchen. You will need to bring your spices, tin foil, container for food. Other than those things, everything you need for a meal is provided. I suggest book a longer trip than you are planning. We should have done 3-4 nights, instead of 2.

We recently said over the weekend my fiancé and I!! We loved love LOVED it! It was close to the Main Street for local shopping. The house was recently remodeled, so very cozy a home away from home!!! We hot tubbed it up and had a campfire!! We will definitely will be returning!! ❤️❤️❤️
