Fuimos con mi pareja a pasar un fin de semana tranquilo y sin molestias, y así fue, disfrutamos tanto como pudimos de sus instalaciones, disfrutamos mucho el jacuzzi hasta el final, la pasamos increíble.

Nice, quiet and comfortable setting with a cozy vibe. Whole house was clean and warm, easy to find location close to Nashville, and short drive to Columbus and Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend staying with Eric and this cottage!

Awesome place, cozy and quiet.

It's rural, I knew that, not much is close so if that matters to you do your research.

Full disclosure, I did experience a plumbing issue first night. Eric responded right away despite it being 9PM or so, I deferred any repair attempt to next day, my number one priority was sleep. Problem was resolved before I returned the next day.

Problems happen, despite the best maintenance practices. How they are handled WHEN they happen is what counts, and this was handled perfectly!

Eric was a great host and we enjoyed spending the weekend here! The hot tub, fire pit, and location were a huge plus.

The cottage has a very good location, we were close to everything but also a very private location. Very relaxing, everything was super clean. From entertainment to comfort it was all there! 100% booking again when doing another get away.

Nice place off the beaten path

Eric’s place was just as described and advertised. It was a great home away from home. We weren’t able to take full advantage of the place due to storms but look forward to coming back for the full experience. Eric was very helpful and quick to respond to any and all questions.

We had such a great time staying at this cozy cottage! It was so peaceful, and the neighbor's ducks were a huge hit! The short drive to downtown Nashville was so convenient, and whenever we had a question, the host quickly got back to us!

Beautiful property, peaceful, quiet and secluded (besides one neighbor). We never heard any noise other than the occasional farm animal, which kept us completely entertained...because we spent 90% of our on the amazing deck. We will definitely recommend the Wayside Cottage! Thank you!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here. We usually travel to Florida for our anniversary but wanted to stay closer to home. Our biggest need was to be out of the city or town but close enough to get to it easily. And mostly wanted to be out in the country. We got everything we wanted. Thank you for making it a great weekend for us.

VERY cute and cozy as well as clean. Had all the desired amenities in the kitchen and bath. 5-ish minute drive to Nashville which is where we spent much of our time. Hot tub was clean and worked great. Looks like a brand new deck so it would be awesome for a warmer weather visit too. Plenty of parking. Very clear and timely communication from management company.

This property is a gem! Secluded from the hustle and bustle of town, yet a quick drive to the heart of Nashville to enjoy whatever your hearts desires may be! Would we return in the future? Absolutely without a doubt!!!

We booked for the weekend and literally only slept there (spent all our time on campus). It’s a charming cottage just outside of Nashville, IN which is the most adorable artist colony / cute town. The cottage was decorated well and clean

Beautiful old cottage with amazing views of farmland, ponds and woods. My wife and I had a great time at this spot. We spent most of our time in the hot tub. Owners were easy to communicate with. We would stay again.

I am from brown county and it was really nice to be able to stay somewhere different. Right outside of town the house was very conveniently located. Very beautiful property. I would stay again.

We planned a last minute spring trip and this place was the perfect spot! Besides being a great value it was the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends after a day of hiking.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's only a 5 or 6 minute drive into Nashville

Great property to get away for the weekend. Enjoyed the quietness and simplicity. Owners did great job of providing everything we needed for cooking. Loved having kids toys with a gated loft!

Quaint little place. We enjoyed the hot tub and claw foot bathtub/shower combo. The living room furniture was comfy and inviting. The loft is a great space for the kiddos if you bring them along. The kitchen is well stocked. The coffee pot is extremely slow, though I'm used to using single serving coffee makers, so that may be why it seemed slow to me. There is not internet, but we did have decent mobile coverage with AT&T. We are football fans and we're saddened that ESPN was not available on Dish Network at the cabin, however there are plenty of channels to watch if you get rained or snowed in. Something we found humerus was that we passed "Paradise" every time we left or came back to the cabin. If you stay here, you'll see what we mean! Overall, I highly recommend this cabin if you don't require internet or multiple bathrooms.

Decided to stay near Nashville, IN for a weekend. This location was great, just off the main road but far enough away that we got the secluded feeling that we were looking for. I would stay again and recommend this place to friends.

Place was very cute, charming and spacious. We immediately loved the outside area and options for seating spots on the beautiful deck. Lots of space to hangout. It was thoughtful to find firewood for us ready to go. Inside it was very charming, perfect for brown county get away. Another thank you for ice in the freezer! Plenty of kitchen tools.

We enjoyed our girls trip and the quietness of being in the country and only 15 minutes from Nashville. The hot tub was fantastic and there was plenty of gathering spaces. The 1 and only drawback for us was the 1 bathroom. With 5 ladies we had to manage our time in the bathroom. But otherwise it was perfect. The fire pit was inviting but we couldn’t use it due to the wind.

Eric's place is super cozy, great for a weekend away! Close to the state parks for hiking and the city of Nashville is a short ride away. We had a great time.

Easy communication, and access to home. Hot tub and towels, plenty of blankets and full basic kitchen. We felt comfortable and safe.

Large enough space for families.

A little outside of Nashville, but the drive into town is along the ridge of a hill with beautiful views. Well worth the price for a peaceful getaway.

My husband and I had a fantastic time. The location is so nice for a relaxing getaway but close enough to all the sights. The house was clean and so spacious!

The cabin was perfect for our girlfriend's weekend! It was cozy and at the same time plenty of room to spread out and relax. The porch has lots of seating and was just as cozy and inviting as the inside. We loved the location, rural but not so secluded as to make the trips to town difficult.

We thoroughly loved the Wayside Cottage and the peace and quiet that came with the beautiful home. It was just the perfect place for us to relax and reconnect as a married couple. We would definitely come back and also bring our kids to enjoy the large backyard.

The cottage was lovely. It was nice and cozy. Our kids loved the upstairs loft. We enjoyed sitting on the swing watching a bird couple build their nest and listening to all the nature sounds.

The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds are comfortable, it’s very clean, and the property is very nice. I would definitely stay there again!

We LOVED the house!!! The kids loved having the loft to themselves and had a blast! My best friend and I thought the house was adorable and we all had a great time in the hot tub!!!!

We enjoyed reading about the history of the cottage. We like it had a fenced in yard to have the dog run in. The patio lights were a nice touch as well as the bikes.

The Wayside Cottage was a great place to stay for a quick weekend visit to Nashville, In. It was about a 10 minute drive to town. The Cottage was very nicely decorated and had all necessities available. The back deck was great with very scenic views of the neighboring pond. This was our first visit to Brown County and we will be back!!

Eric's place is just what my wife and I were looking for to get away from the city and enjoy Nashville IN. It is a beautiful house located on a remote, quiet country road, but is just an easy ten minute drive into downtown Nashville. The hosts are extra helpful and provide plenty of info on what to do and where to go, and also nice touches like Christmas decorations and a snack basket! We were also happy with the cleanliness of the home and the amenities were on point with the listing (including a very clean hot tub!). And we have already planned a return trip with the kids, because the upstairs is perfect for two young ones. Can't wait to return!

We loved our weekend stay at Wayside Cottage! It was decorated very nicely with wonderful little touches. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. My daughter loved the kids loft - very cute and fun! We loved the hot tub and the fire pit and the wonderful porch swing! Plenty of wonderful hiking around and a number of fun restaurants a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay and our hosts provided lots of great info about surrounding activities as well as easy instructions to get in and how to operate everything in the cottage. We will defiantly come back and stay again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. We wanted to be near the hiking of Brown County, but not in the woods so we could keep the bugs off our kids. This was a perfect spot with the backdrop of woods which gave a very private feel, but was in the open as well. The house itself is very kid friendly and well decorated. It was very well maintained.
