Nature’s Nest

The cabin was perfect for a quick family getaway with our family of 4. It’s one of the nicest we’ve experienced over the years. Very comfy, clean, and cozy. Secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and the surround sound stereo! Within 10-15 minutes of downtown and the state park. Lots to do, even in the winter. Thank you for hosting us! Would definitely book again.

My friends and I stayed at Eric’s place on a recent girls trip. The location is absolute perfection - close to town but secluded. The property is stunning and the home is spacious and clean. We loved it so much that we are already planning to return next year! Highly recommend!

Wonderful cabin. Very peaceful with modern comforts. Huge wrap around porch with hot tub, grill and eating area. Wrapped in the woods with wildlife and quiet. Country loving but close to Nashville, Indiana fun. Plenty of space to be social or get some peace and quiet from others.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Nature's Nest! It was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. We spent tons of time out on the deck chatting and listening to the bird song, watching the fireflies, etc. The house was very clean and had everything you could want. Although we did not use it, the hot tub looked great and the grill area was very spacious. There was lots of seating and cooking space available! The beds were comfortable and we slept great because it was so quiet. I really enjoy the short drive to and from Nashville. The country roads and the scenery on the way are beautiful. We will definitely be making this a regular stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy retreat in Nashville, Indiana. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home. The hot tub was a definite highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of golf. The location felt peaceful and secluded, yet it was just a short drive to the shops and restaurants downtown. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

A perfect weekend getaway! This cabin was comfortable and clean and in a very peaceful setting. My cousins and I spent most of our time sitting outside on the porch chatting, eating, playing games, and soaking up the beauty around us. There were lots of tiny details around the cabin that made it extra special! I recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat.

Nature's Nest is a beautiful cabin! We enjoyed our stay for a 3 night get away. Our weather wasn't the greatest, but the back porch was so comfortable and stayed dry, nice table and chairs, peaceful, we were fine enjoying the wooded view and listening to rain!

Great spot for a little getaway. The house was great and it was very private. I will say, the no blinds and no curtains really did take some getting used to - I’ve probably watched one too many scary movies - but it was great not seeing a soul in sight. The house was clean and there were lots of towels and wash clothes provided. The kitchen was well stocked with some basics. There isn’t a washer and dryer so make sure you bring extra towels if you are staying for very long - especially beach towels if you are going to use the hot tub. Overall it was a nice place to stay though!

We booked this place to celebrate our anniversary. It was very peaceful and had a beautiful scenery. Lots of places to relax outside. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We only left to do a little shopping and eat. We will definitely be staying again.

It is very well stocked with everything you would need, beautiful woods setting, quiet, the BBQ has a great set up, hot tub was extra nice to relax in. The pictures do not do it justice. We had a wonderful stay at Nature's Nest, which happens to be in one of the darkest spots in Indiana so you get an amazing night sky. The cabin was great for our family of four, we could not get the kids to stop bouncing between the ping pong table and the play set outside.

We just had a guy's weekend in Brown County and stayed at Nature's Way. It is a great home and offers a rustic feel with all the amenities you would want. A few things I am always concerned about and what I found:
The cabin was easy to find
It was easy to come and go with a door code
The beds were comfortable
There were plenty of towels including towels for the hot tub
The kitchen was well stocked. There was not an ice machine but there were plenty of Ice trays in the freezer.
Everything was clean
It was worth buying the firewood bundle they sell which includes starter pieces
The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. Great to use on a cold evening
Plenty of room with two separate living areas. The one downstairs felt like it might have been designed with kids in mind.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in the woods! The serene setting provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, and the host was friendly and accommodating. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private deck was truly rejuvenating. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful getaway. A quick drive to Nashville. The pictures do not do it justice. A million stars can be seen at night from the hot tub!

Wonderful stay at Eric’s cabin. It’s secluded, very clean, and had every amenity needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when looking for a relaxing weekend in beautiful Brown County.

Beautiful cabin! Spent a girls weekend here and it was perfect. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast during our stay! We used the radio and surround sound speakers quite a bit. Wish there were curtains or blinds on the windows. Took a walk through the woods to explore the property although I never noticed a clear defined hiking path. Great large deck with a grill and hot tub was nice for the evening we spent in. Very quiet and secluded which made for the perfect peaceful getaway. 15 minute drive to downtown festivities!

Stayed in the Nature's Nest property and it was perfect for our family. Loved the amenities offered on the property. Definitely recommend for a nice long weekend to Brown County!

This cabin is in a very secluded and scenic area. It suited our needs perfectly and was stocked with just about anything you could need. We did have an issue with heating but Eric was very responsive and Michelle came and made us a fire. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Very nice location, cabin is beautiful inside and out. Very well built cabin. Hot tub was the best I've ever been in. Grill is a very smart set up, cooked everything great. Huge fireplace, high ceilings and comfortable beds. They also provided spices, coffee cups, lots of board games to play and table tennis. Nice fire pit. First air b& b i have been to that I wanted to spend the time enjoying. Eric is very responsive and on his feet thinker. Thank you for a very relaxing stay...will be back to see your other rentals and this one again!

Our family had a wonderful time being together, playing games, and hiking in Brown County. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening and then the warm fireplace. Thank you!

Could not have been better! We were looking for something private, cabin in the woods. This was just the ticket. Outside was wonderful although it was way too cold to enjoy it. Porch around 3 sides of the house, porch swing, outside dining table, hot tub (we did enjoy that), fire pit, and a swing set which would have been perfect if our grandchildren were with us. Kitchen was full of everything we could need including spices, flour, oil, sugar, coffee, etc. Eric even has a garlic press! Sofa was super comfy, as were the beds, and high quality bed linens. Basement has a ping pong table and a ton of games. Sound system with a huge variety of music, something for all tastes. This was a truly wonderful place to spend a long weekend. Would absolutely stay again. 15 minutes from town so super quiet and peaceful

I was very pleased with the quality of this cabin. It was very clean at check in, the pictures were very accurate to the land and inside of the cabin, and we were huge fans of all the speakers spread out throughout. We will definitely be back to this cabin for any trips to Brown County.

My oldest is a Freshman at IU. We rented this cabin as a place for our family to spend IU's Family Weekend together. It was absolutely perfect!!!! The wrap around porch was our favorite location. We hung out together by the porch swing and enjoyed meals outside at the large outdoor table. The cabin itself offered plenty of room for all of us. We will all look forward to our next trip! We had a great stay! The house is fairly close to the town but also feels like a retreat in the woods. As a group of six, we had plenty of space. The home is filled with many amenities - from a stocked spice cabinet to a closet full of games. The hot tub was lovely and mosquitoes were not an issue! We only wish we had more time to play a game of ping pong or relax on the gorgeous porch!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had so much fun! We originally planned this trip for the summer, but had to postpone due to a family emergency. Eric was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. Our stay at Nature's nest was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our weekend away at this house! Quiet and relaxing, with space to chill and soak in the quiet (and to soak in the hot tub!). House was as-described and clean! The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to make dinner during our stay. Easy communication with the host, especially with some last-minute questions. The first and second floor bedrooms don’t have window shades, so if you’re an early riser, it’s not too much of a problem.

This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for in Brown County. There was a great, quiet space downstairs for the kids that includes a tv, ping pong table, lots of games, and a bedroom (sleeps 4) with a separate bathroom. The bedroom on the main floor has curtains over the slider for privacy, but nothing over the window or skylight. In the Fall this was a non-issue, but it could be troublesome when there's more daylight in the Summer. It has a queen bed. The bedroom in the loft is open to below and has a King bed. It is visibly private from below, but not audibly private. The floors are quite creaky on the main floor and loft stairs, but that's expected. We enjoyed the hot tub, which it's own separate basket of towels. There is a porch swing, which was my favorite spot to enjoy my morning coffee. The play set was perfect for our two young daughters. We enjoyed the firepit and there was plenty of starter and firewood for our needs. We enjoyed exploring in the woods, but watch out for thorns, prickers, and burrs. Nature's nest fit our needs perfectly and was well-appointed and very comfortable and clean. We'll be back again!

Nature's Nest is a great place for a family getaway. The cabin is beautiful and well-equipped. We enjoyed the wrap-around deck, fire pit, gas grill, and downstairs games room. The wooded setting gives you a real feeling of relaxation and solitude, yet the cabin is not too far away from Brown County State Park and Nashville. We'd love to come back in the fall!

We stayed at Nature's Nest and had a great experience. The owners were very responsive when we had trouble. When we arrived there was no power in the downstairs. There was a repairman there within the hour. The cabin was very clean and has everything you could need already there! Kitchen particularly was very well stocked with pans, utensils and such. Very secluded and enjoyable.

It is an extremely nice family cabin with well-stocked kitchens and bath. Our family met there for Father's Day weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very private and secluded. It is minutes from other areas in Nashville that we wanted to attend. We loved our stay there and that big wraparound porch upstairs and down provided many memorable moments as well as conversations for our family. It rained the entire weekend and thunderstorms but we did not even let it dampen our spirits. The game room downstairs provided hours of entertainment for Grand blessings as well as the adults. The hot tub was very relaxing as well. This cabin is just what the doctor ordered for a great peaceful and relaxing getaway. Listening to the Rain On The Roof and sitting on the outside deck in the pouring down rain was so soothing. our grand blessings loved it so much they cried they did not want to go back home they want all of us to live there together.

This was a lovely home on a beautiful property in the woods - we loved being surrounded by trees, and loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and enjoying the view of the woods. This was a great place for our trip (my husband, me, and our baby who isn’t walking yet). We loved all of the natural light in the home from the skylights and windows. It was about a 15 minute drive into Nashville or Brown County State Park - and the drive is through a beautiful area. It was great to be close enough to visit easily, but also to get back to the tranquility of this lovely home.

Well worth the money spent. Great cabin home and great location. The beds were super comfy too. It was one of the best weekends we've had in Brown County, and was partly do to staying at Nature's Nest. Great times!

Easy access to cabin with pin code, no need to check in at an office for a key. Natures Nest was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. It would have accommodated at least 6, maybe 8. Bathrooms were very clean with plenty of towels. Family/board games were provided even though we brought some of our own. Kitchen was up to date, well stocked and everything worked. We didn't use much, but if we needed it, it was there. The 2 of us slept/napped in all 3 beds and all were quite comfy. The cabin is beautifully decorated. Natures Nest sits back from the road so it's totally private. There are no shades, curtains or blinds on most of the windows. It wasn't really a problem, but would have been nice to be able to close up the windows at night. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked clean. The ping pong table provided a lot of fun and laughs. If I return to the area, I will definitely be booking Natures Nest with Moondance Vacation Homes again.

This cabin is what we have been looking for! Perfectly suited for our family. We love all of the surrounding private property to explore and enjoy. The cabin itself is clean, outfitted comfortably, and perfect for a fun weekend away. We'll be back to visit again

My family and I just spent 4 days and 3 nights in the "Natures Nest Cabin", and I was blown away by the calmness and homey feel of this retreat... Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway...
