Great place to relax and rest! Enjoyed watching the sunrise drinking coffee in the dining area. Screened in area with hot tub was a bonus to enjoy without bugs. Close to shopping area in Nashville but far enough to be quiet and cozy. Mattresses were not too comfortable but wouldn’t be a complete deal breaker with other amenities. Thank you for a nice place to retreat!

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin! It was the perfect place to relax and spend time together. One of our favorite spots was the dining room- it couldn’t have been better for playing games. The space was bright and welcoming, with large windows that let in tons of natural light during the day and created a cozy atmosphere in the evening. It was perfect weather to have the windows open all day and the table was spacious enough for all of us to gather around comfortably. Highly recommend and will be visiting again! Thank you!

Loretta's Cabin is a great escape! It's a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy nature. We liked the supply of puzzles and games, jacuzzi, and game room downstairs. The kitchen is well-equiped and nicely updated. WiFi worked great. We loved the sunroom for dining and hanging out. The country roads and drive is really beautiful. The ten minute drive to Nashville for groceries, restaurants or exploring is easy. It's about 28 minutes from Bloomington where we visited our student attending IU. This is a great location for gathering with family or friends!

Great location in the middle of a lot of a lot of fun things. Spectacular location and beautiful view of the trees and hills. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing getaway. Space was true to pictures, and the layout was so cozy and well thought out. Hot tub and fire pit were great additions. We would definitely return.

Wonderful place to stay! Eric was incredibly kind and responsive. We had a wonderful time at Loretta’s cabin and would definitely recommend! The home was beautiful, and on enough yard that we could enjoy some outdoor games. Hot tub was wonderful and house was perfect for our family!

We loved the scenic view from the deck and enjoyed getting to see the deer grazing on the property. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep us busy. The spa was especially relaxing after a long day of hiking and shopping in Nashville.
The spa water was kept clean and clear. We also enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night. We really enjoyed our time at Loretta's Cabin. We have stayed in one of Eric's other cabins and this one also lived up to our expectations. We would recommend this place to our friends and family.

Very nice and comfortable home. Peaceful and quiet. Only downside is no washer and dryer. So if you're staying more than a couple of days, pack extra clothes.

Nice house and property

Beautiful cabin! Great scenery, the hot tub was great too! We used it every day.

This has been one of my favorite bookings through Airbnb so far. The cabin Is gorgeous, peaceful, private and huge! You might here a few distant barking dogs from the far away neighbors but they are far enough away that it didn't bother us. Other than that it's birds , crickets and frogs and we loved it!
The cabin was pretty much spotless and smelled very clean. I like the house rule of no shoes in the house because it's gross if you do and so the carpet is clean and soft.
We had 5 guests total and I feel like even if we had 5 more there would still be plenty of room for privacy and comfort.
we enjoyed the fire pit while making s'mores and listening to music. The yard is perfect for yard games, we brought Can Jam and had a blast!
I absolutely loved the kitchen! Fully stocked with utensils and cookware.
The beds and furniture are so comfortable we all slept great
It's location is great, only a 7 minute drive into town. We also enjoyed using the Hot tub, it was very clean.

The house was a perfect distance from the Nashville downtown area. It exceeded my expectations and was a lot cooler looking in person.

Great cabin for the price. Plenty of space and activities in the cabin. Was really close to downtown Nashville to grab dinner. We might book again next year.

Our family loved the cabin! The kids absolutely loved the pool table and ping pong table. The large kitchen table was great for a few family game nights. We brought our own games but we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin had a bunch of games provided by the host! The cabin was in great condition. It was also very easy to find and even though you are pretty secluded while at the cabin you are just a short drive from down town Nashville which is very nice! 10/10 recommend this cabin!

We had a great stay at Loretta's Cabin. It was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the porch and all the amenities downstairs. Our time visiting Nashville, Indiana was also peaceful and a lot of fun. We visited shops, ate very well, and also hiked in Brown County State Park. We will be back in the future.

The cabin was very spacious and the perfect space for our Girls’ Weekend. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Host was very helpful and sent clear directions to help with checkin process. 10 out of 10!

Loretta's cabin was clean and very spacious. For two people staying it was rather pricey. Electric went out at 3 AM and we called and texted the number they gave us to call and no one answered until 7 AM. We felt someone could have texted us back at 3 AM to advise us on what to do. Make sure you have a flashlight with you because the electric goes out often at the cabin so the instruction book stated. We literally could not see our hand in front of our face. Electric took several hours to come back on. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. My favorite room was the sunroom. We enjoyed the game room as well. The gas grill was nice but had dirty grates. The large family room did not have any blinds or drapes on the front and side windows and we felt uneasy at night not having any privacy. Would have been nice to have a couple of rocking chairs on the front porch. The deer grazing in the front yard was a highlight of the stay.

This place was so magical! I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. It was very peaceful and quiet. The house smelled so nice and cozy. I love the accommodations and attention to details. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was the perfect place for our weekend trip with four guys. Hot tub and bar games gave us plenty to do. Grill worked great for our burgers. It was very clean and spacious for our group size. AC worked great as well. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area for a long weekend

Very beautiful location! No views obstructed by power lines. Nothing but country! Saw a deer come into the clearing on the property and watched the fireflies come out of the trees at dusk.

Nashville was a 10-15 minute drive, and we went horseback riding in Morgantown (~20 minutes away).

Cabin was clean and beautiful! Everything you need to stay in if you don’t want to venture out! We loved our stay and hope to come back again someday!

Also, we didn’t have little kids with us, but the bunk bed room would be a hit with younger kids!

Loretta’s Cabin was a great pick! The cabin was very clean and gave high end vibes the second we stepped inside. The cabin has a great dinning area for games and eating. The outside areas were also very well maintained and on a good weather day would have been perfect! (It was still just a bit chilly outside). The living room and kitchen also offered great areas to hunker down and just chat and be together. The kitchen was also well stocked with many utensils and dishes. The rooms were very clean, mattress were comfy and the bathrooms were spotless. It was nice to have 2 full baths available!

Perfect for families!

It was our 2nd Thanksgiving weekend at Loretta's cabin, and it was fabulous! Cooking dinner is easy with a gas cooktop, oven big enough for a 20 lb turkey and pots, pans, casserole dishes, etc. in good condition. Ping-pong and pool and the hottub entertained the kids. Screens on three levels allowed for football viewing and early-morning entertainment for kids so the adults could sleep in. A grassy area large enough to throw a football around and an easy hike into the woods on the property got us moving after a big meal! We highly recommend!

We were a small group of 3 friends who just wanted to get away for a few days & relax. We stayed in Loretta's cabin. It was very peaceful & quiet. We stayed in & cooked for ourselves, so we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. We did go to Nashville one day to window shop & browse, & found a pleasant outside diner with great food- The Nest I think. Arriving & departing was seamless & easy. Everything was clean & comfortable. We will definitely consider returning to Moondance Rentals.

this was our second stay in a moondance property, and it was worth every penny! the home was immaculately clean, and there were NO odors (cleaning chemicals/water/pets/etc) of any kind like you typically experience in some airbnbs. we only needed the first floor bedroom, but this house has enough space to host a large family. the king bedroom (1st floor) was so comfortable, and has an ensuite full bathroom. there is also a powder room on the 1st floor. the kitchen was so clean! be prepared to bring your own food if you are planning to cook. same with coffee. the kitchen is pretty well stocked otherwise. there is a very large deck off the living room, and a firepit with tables and chairs outside of the hot tub/game room. besides the bed, the hot tub and the firepit area - my favorite space was the living room - it has an incredibly cozy vibe. the furniture is solid and comfortable. i highly recommend this location/stay.

This cabin is situated in a beautiful area. the house is perfect for a family getaway. Hot tub, pool, ping pong, and lots of board games. we loved the big table in the sun room! We saw lots of deer out the back windows. only 6 miles from Nashville shopping g and 15 minutes from Brown County State park. We had a wonderful stay!

My husband and I decided to book a last-minute getaway after getting married. We had a great, quiet, relaxing weekend playing pool and table tennis and enjoying the hot tub. We will definitely be visiting one of Eric's cabins again!

If you are looking for the perfect getaway, look no farther. Ever year my wife and I rent a cabin for a getaway. Loretta's Cabin was perfect for our week long stay. Beautiful views, quiet, comfortable, modern appliances, grill, deck, and screened in porch with a hot tub. In short, cabins don’t get much better than this one!
Also, since we were at the cabin for a week, there were contractors who needed to do work (lawn and hot tub maintenance). These appointments were communicated to us days in advance and neither interfered with our vacation. Furthermore, any questions I had were responded to promptly.
If you are looking for a great cabin for a couple or for several families, this is the one!

This cabin is perfect for a large group of people. Very spacious. Plenty of sleeping arrangements. Great outdoor entertainment area. Love that we got to use the hot tub! Already planning a trip back soon!

A perfect winter getaway cabin! We were so cozy indoors and absolutely loved the views outside the cabin. The dining room was a dream with all the windows looking out. The entire cabin exceed our expectations. The kitchen was fully stocked--literally everything you could possibly need! An extremely cozy stay--we will absolutely be back!

Open kitchen and family room allows everyone to be together during meal prep. Bedding is all really soft and nice quality. Kitchen and grill run on natural gas which is nice. Could have a nice time here with a couple families. Felt a little big for our family of four, but that’s not a bad problem to have! Thank you.

Beautiful cabin!

We were looking for a cabin off the beaten path where we could go and relax with friends over the weekend. Loretta's Cabin was exactly what we had in mind. Upon arrival we were very happy with the cleanliness of the home, the spacious rooms, the great gathering spaces, and the options for entertainment (pool table, ping pong, hot tub). Although it was only two couples, we could have accommodated three couples with ease and could have added kids if desired due to the bunk beds and the additional twin in one of the bedrooms. The cabin is about 5-10 minutes from Nashville, IN and a short drive to Bloomington...but still away from everything to a certain degree...which is what we were looking for. We will definitely be back to Loretta's cabin in the future. The owners were very easy to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions that we had.

This property is well maintained and quite comfortable for a 3 generation family weekend. The sunroom was perfect for a Thanksgiving meal with its large and sturdy wooden table and a wall of windows. It was also a morning coffee reading nook watching the sunrise over the trees. The firepit made for some wonderful memories making s'mores. Ping pong and pool entertained the kids and the adults playing with them. The cook in the family really appreciated the gas cook top and oven -- definitely a plus in a vacation rental. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked -- we cooked every meal there including Thanksgiving and all its fixins. There was a trail on the property and we made use of trails in the state park. We'll be back again next year for sure!

Beautiful, quiet and unique. Did I say quiet .. my favorite part to a vacation is being away from where your visiting so not to be hassled by traffic and loud noises. It’s the perfect amount of distance between Bloomington and Nashville to enjoy both but not to deal with the noise of both. Thank you for our stay and quick readiness as this was our second Airbnb choice when we chose to visit Nashville, the first airbnb being a bad fit for our family. So y’all saved the vaca !!!

My family had an absolutely wonderful time at Loretta's cabin and will definitely be coming back!! What gorgeous views and nice yard for the kids to play. Very peaceful and secluded, but there are still neighbors around so you don't feel too "far out." My favorite part was spending time in the large sunroom taking in the changing colors of the leaves. The hot tub was fantastic and the perfect way to wind down in the evening. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, cleaning supplies, etc. I appreciated that so much!! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, beautiful fireplace and family room to enjoy, I just can't say enough good things. It is worth mentioning, as some other reviews had, that the basement does have a very musty odor. It was very strong the first two days of our stay, but on the third day it was barely noticeable. I'm not sure what the difference was, because the weather was nearly identical all three days, but it made the last day much more enjoyable playing games down there. Loved having a nice ping pong table and pool table! Thank you so much for such a great getaway!

We had a great time at Loretta's cabin! The kitchen was well stocked and perfect because we did a lot of cooking. The location is a short drive to downtown Nashville where we were able to explore all the little shops in the area. Very clean! Communication with Eric was easy and he was responsive whenever we had to reach him.

My 4 adult sons and I stayed for a long weekend. The sleeping arrangements worked fine for the 5 of us since we are family.. The kitchen is very roomy and the basement with the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub were all used and enjoyed.

I absolutely love Miss Loretta's cabin. I've stayed there twice with 5 friends. Loretta's has everything one needs including all linens, towels and kitchen appliances and utensils. The team at Moondance make communicating so easy and they are accommodating and thoughtful. I hope to book again next year.

We appreciate how fast Eric responded to our messages. This house offers a great layout of space and amenities to keep us entertained all weekend. Overall we had a great experience for our get away and plan on coming back in the future.

This house hits the sweet spot between rustic and updated. Our group did a TON of cooking – and the kitchen was phenomenally well-stocked. The sunny dining room and huge table were terrific for playing games and enjoying meals. And the rest of the layout gave plenty of room to spread out as well as great spaces to come together. The listing photos represent it well, Eric was a very responsive host, and this would be on my short list for a return visit.

A spacious, clean, and well-stocked cabin on an incredible piece of property. We enjoyed the views of the forest from the back deck, fires, games, and cooking lots of meals in the beautiful kitchen. This place is the perfect blend of rustic and updated—it’s cozy and has everything you need for a weekend or even a week. Hot tub on the screened-in porch was relaxing on crisp November nights. Super close (10-15 minutes) from downtown Nashville, Brown County State Park, and Yellowwood.

We stayed at Loretta's Cabin for several days with family members. The cabin was nice - clean, well-equipped, and everything worked. The weather wasn't as good as we would have liked, but there was plenty to do and lots of room inside. Saw several deer right outside the window as we ate dinner the first night.

Had a great time at Loretta’s Cabin! Plenty of room and lots to do. We enjoyed a bonfire in the fire pit one night when it was chilly and relaxed in the hot tub which was quite large enough for the three of us to fit comfortably.

Me and a few friends stayed here for a few days and loved It! Tranquil surroundings and the house has so many lovely features. We especially enjoyed the sun room and the basement with the hot tub+pool+ ping-pong tables. The softest upstairs carpet was also a luxury for our tired feet after a long day of hiking!

The cabin was larger than I expected, the pictures are accurate. The space was clean and plenty of pans, dishes and cooking items if you plan on cooking. The view from the deck is lovely and we spent most of our time hanging in the four season room, reading, and playing games.

This would be an ideal space for a large group of friends, couples or families.

This was a girls trip. We planned this trip back in March. Two of the girls had a milestone birthday this year and one will have one before the end of the year. This place exceeded expectations.It was spotless. We all felt so comfortable here. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back.

Our family rented Miss Loretta's cabin from Moondance for our Christmas dinner . It was just perfect, the staff went above and beyond to make it special. The Christmas tree was beautifully decorated, the cabin sparkling clean with great amenities. We had a wonderful experience.

This was a perfect place for a girls weekend. Sleeping spaces were comfortable and varied, and hang-out spaces were perfect. Towels were available for the hot tub, and the kitchen was large enough for multiple cooks. Lots of silverware, dishes and food prep tools. The dining room table allowed us to enjoy our meals and play games comfortably. We spent the day hanging out on the deck and the evening around the fire pit. The view is magnificent. I highly recommend this cabin. It's one of the best I've experienced in Brown County.

We took our kids and their spouses to Miss Loretta's Cabin, and it was fantastic!! We had a great time, and the property and cabin were everything we could have hoped for. It was a great way to spend our Christmas with the kids around the fire place, and the wonderful Christmas tree, and playing games around the huge table surrounded by windows, watching the snow fall.

We had a large family gathering at Moondance two years ago and it could not have been more perfect. The cabins were beautiful and enough room for us to all gather at Loretta for Thanksgiving Dinner. My brother rented the Songbird and they too loved their experience. We plan to go back to gather in 2016.

We stayed in Loretta's cabin on a friends reunion weekend and we were all so impressed with the cabin. It was super clean and had a great amount of space for the six of us. The hot tub was so great along with the pool table and ping pong table downstairs. I highly recommend this cabin. We loved it way more than the cabins we had previously rented in Gatlinburg, TN. It was the perfect distance from Nashville shops. Such a great relaxing weekend was had! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin for Valentines weekend. We loved the hot tub, even in 9 degree and with ice literally forming in our hair! We had a blast playing pool….well, attempting to be good at it. Us playing ping pong was even more hilarious.
