Snoozy Snail Cottage

We absolutely loved the Snoozy Snail cottage & will book again! The cottage itself had all the amenities and more, even for your fur babies! Perfect space for a couples getaway, close to the main attractions, and a space you can just hang out to enjoy the fire pit, hot tub, and spacious outdoor area! We come to Brown County every year, we will be staying at this cute cottage again! Thank you for sharing it!

Our stay was wonderful, and the location was just as described, close to all kinds of Nashville shops and restaurants! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this spot for our stay in Nashville, IN! Great location, very accessible to the main strip of shops and restaurants. Very close to north entrance to Brown Co State Park. Fire pit and hot tub were highlights. Couch was comfy and accommodating to 3 humans and 2 furbabies. Highly recommend! Only issue was a late in the day arrival on our end and a dark driveway, but we were able to figure it out easy enough!

The property was exactly as described. Short drive to downtown, Hard Truth Hills and Brown County Music Center. I would recommend this property to anyone looking in the area and will definitely book again for future visits.

Nic place for a few days away

Eric was a great host! The place was perfect for our small family including our dog.

The kitchen was well stocked with a nice knife block and everything I needed for all of my cooking. Plenty of seating space on the sectional. Nice towels and bedding. Cold refrigerator. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper I always bring extra but that wasn't needed. Very close to town. Great experience!

Perfectly suited our needs. Had everything we needed and more! Conveniently located between downtown Nashville and the entrance to Brown County State Park. You can reach both by car in less than 5 minutes.

The Snoozy Snail was great for our weekend getaway! The property was very clean and we had everything we needed. We took advantage of the location to walk to the shops in Nashville several times which saved time and money searching for parking. The weather was beautiful so we were able to enjoy being outside on the deck, in the hammock and in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend for 2-3 people. It is small but very comfortable.

My husband and I did a little weekend get away, it was absolutely amazing! The communication with the host was great from booking all the way through. The house was easy to find and access. It was very clean and absolutely adorable. We both felt very comfortable and enjoyed our much needed peaceful weekend away. Very comfortable cottage with nice outdoor space. We stayed for three nights and were happy with the cottage. We availed ourselves to the town and the state park - all within an easy drive. Most importantly, the cottage was perfect for just relaxing and chillin'!

Awesome place! Very close to the Music Center, Hard Truth Restaurant, and downtown shopping. We will be back!

This adorable place was just what I needed! It’s in the perfect location, right between the park and downtown Nashville, and super close to Hard Truth. It was spotless and had everything I needed. Eric and his team were super responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

Sister's "Cheaper than Therapy" Trip! The 2 of us needed a break and some time away. Eric was very easy to work with and answered questions quickly and professionally. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Although we ended up not cooking because there are too many great restaurant options. Walking distance to town, but we ended up making the short drive due to rainy days. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try out the hot tub or fire pit - again due to rainy weather. We would definitely stay in the Snoozy Snail Cottage (or any of Eric's other rentals) again!!
A couple things to keep in mind: Have a way to check the weather if it gets bad - we had trouble finding a local channel. There are 2 steps in the cottage from the living area to the bathroom and kitchen - we were unaware of this, but not a problem for us. There is only 1 bathroom and it is small - if you like extra bathroom space, you won't find it here. There is no ice maker - we had to buy a bag of ice.

The Snoozy Snail was a great place for a little getaway! It was the cutest place. We loved having games, outdoor area, and a place that was welcoming for our dog ? The location is very drive-able to downtown Nashville and Brown County state park. We look forward to staying here again when in the area!

This spot was much cozier than the photos lead on, we felt right at home. The hot tub provided much relief after our hike! The park pass was a small but mighty touch from the host. Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a burden but this place felt so welcoming with the little touches for our fur-baby. Grateful for the accommodations provided!

This was by far one of the best air bnbs that we've rented. We had everything that we needed, plus more. They even provided a Parks Pass which we thought was a great touch. My girlfriend and I were starting to lose faith in Airbnb until we stayed here! Well thought-out design with a nice vibe. Very clean and tidy. Hot tub was great and also clean. Can walk to hard truth or to the cinnamon roll shop in 5 mins. A cool property with the creek running out back. They had robes and nice little amenities that made it fun. Exceeded our expectations!

Really loved the hot tub! Beds comfy, spices in the kitchen (incredible), candles and games too! For having other neighbors it was really private and peaceful.

House was given to us as an upgrade due to the fact that the house we rented wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. It was very nice. The only trouble we had was locating it. The address is 246 and is located between two other houses with odd number address. Not a big deal. We made a phone call and it was quickly resolved.

Great location, super close to everything fun in Brown Co. It is on a busier road though just FYI, not super secluded. The hot tub is amazing and it was super nice that it is covered.

Wonderful place to stay! The place was set up with everything we needed. Best part was the across the street walking path to Hard Truth Distillery. We can’t wait to come back in the fall when we can get more use out of the hot tub and outdoor fire pits !

A nice place to stay.

LOVED THIS PLACE!! Private, well equipped, new and comfortable mattress, plenty of firewood for a mostly secluded fireplace and gathering area, picnic table and additional outdoor tables, hot tub in private area, national park parking pass, wifi/Roku, and much more. About 1/4 mile walk to all of the shopping, and the National park/trails is just 5 minutes away.

Perfect place to stay in Nashville! It has EVERYTHING - hot tub, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating, a backyard creek, and a lovely space inside. It's cozy and fun and super close to town. Also, Eric is very quick to respond and extremely helpful if any issues arise. We would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Nashville!

This was our second time at the Snoozy Snail. We travel with one other couple and it’s PERFECT. Eric has thought of everything you’d need: fire starting, coffee, lots of pillows, hammock, bedroom trash cans and towel racks, games…the list goes on and on. I can’t stress enough how PERFECTLY SITUATED this property is. You’ll “feel” like you’re in the woods—stream running out back, animals walking by, privacy from neighbors—but you’ll be within walkable distance to the two greatest things: downtown Nashville AND Hard Truth. Also, the street it’s on has a back route to the main roads, which is super helpful on days with traffic! Just note: only one bathroom, so sharing is required. If this property got one half bath added, it would be out of this world!

Definitely more peaceful and even more beautiful than the pictures. The place was like home away from home an so inviting an comfy. The fact they even had toys for the dogs and comb an even a little collar just in case. Amazing. The little creek out back my boys loved and me forgetting a micro towel for paws, they already thought to have!! I was just in awe of this place and all you thought to provide for our stay. Definitely coming back.

Loved this little house and was in such a good location. It’s probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Everything was fully stocked with things you forget you even need. The only thing I can say is it needs a couple small saucepans. We loved the hot tub and the grill and fire pit, had a great time making s’mores. Will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay , was peaceful and quite ! It was very clean and had all the ameneties you needed for your stay . We had a little trouble finding it , but when we called, the gal we talked to gave us directions and we were able to drive right to it. Was very close to downtown Nashville , we were happy about that because we went shopping and of course ate at the nice restaurants there. Loved the hot tub too All in all was a very enjoyable stay ! The cottage was lovely. Super clean and tons of homey touches everywhere. We used the pass at brown county to take a hike in the woods at the park. It's remote, yet close to town. We had campfires both nights and the bird watching was superb. I would go back 100%

We had a great time at the Snoozy Snail. In proper Nashville fashion, they had a tree stump carved like a snail, which made it perfect! Everything we could have needed and more was provided. Incredible attention to detail and just a fun place to hang out.

The Snoozy Snail exceeded our expectations. The pictures looked amazing, but this property is even better in person. You could spend all day just looking at all the details in and around the property. We had everything we needed, and some things we didn't even realize we might need. Everything from firewood and fire starter, to an emergency lantern, fuzzy robes, and plenty of linens and pillows. Eric has truly thought through every aspect of his guests' experience at the property.

We felt special staying here, and we will be returning!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, and the hot tub and outdoor areas were very clean. We were only a ten minute walk from all the local shops and restaurants in town which was great! There are neighbors on either side of the property, but the privacy fencing does it’s job well and we had no issues.

Arriving at this little gem, the Snoozy Snail, was exactly as pictured. Any questions were promptly answered and the check in process was seamless. This place is so charming, in the perfect location to downtown, and has all the right amenities to make your stay feel like home. It was the perfect ladies getaway to relax and enjoy the shopping and restaurants. The hot tub was our favorite place to relax. Every bit of this place is perfect. They thought of everything. We had plenty of pillows and blankets, extra charger, games, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Even the pullout sofa was pretty comfy. The decor is so charming with vibrant colors…. So adorable! They had all the supplies to start a campfire, which we did, but ultimately we all loved the hot tub. The creek in the back adds to the charm. All the women in the group raved about how clean and fantastic this place was. We were able to walk to town….this location is ideal. I can’t say enough about this little gem. It accommodated our group of five women just perfectly. If your thinking of visiting, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be coming back. I miss it already.

My girlfriend and I went there to relax, enjoy a little shopping and the beautiful brown county and the property covered it all. The place was clean and up to date. The hot tub was refreshing. It was perfect for the two of us and overall it was a great place to relax.

We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pit due to the weather, but they were both perfect too! We would definitely consider another stay when we return to the area.

Eric’s rental was great!! Cozy, but perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the large living room TV and hot tub. Wish the weather would have been warmer to enjoy the fire pit and deck more and also wish it had a dishwasher, but still so happy with the stay. They had so many little touches we appreciated (ie fire starters, table games, Bluetooth speaker etc). The location is amazing, walkable to downtown Nashville, Hard Truth Distillery, and Brown county Music Center (even though steep hill to walk to music center). We took a short drive to the state park as well. This rental would work for 2-3 couples as well, other than small bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

This was my first time renting an Air BNB. So, I am not sure if all Air BNB’s usually come with most things one would need, but there was so much provided that we didn’t need some of what we brought. Just to name a few; fire starters, a long lighter, a charger, room spray, candles, body pillows & fans (I was most excited about these 2 because no one ever has them), heaters, spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, some dog accessories & bedding (didn’t need, but noticed), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. We appreciated all of the extras while staying there! Also, Eric was very responsive throughout the entire process. Thanks again! : )

Absolutely wonderful, It was exactly as it was portrayed, what a sweet comfortable place to stay. The beds were amazing also. Literally minutes from town will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Snoozy Snail was a wonderful and fun experience! The location was perfect for going into town or the state park. The house was incredibly cozy and comfortable and had all the amenities you need. The hot tub was the icing on top!

I had a very nice stay at the Snoozy Snail. It was great that the cottage is close to downtown Nashville as well as the very large distillery/restaurant just up the road. The place had everything that I needed for my stay. The bed was also very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. I would definitely stay again.

The cottage offered all the comforts to staying in or enjoy site seeing. We loved the fire pit, grilling option, and the hot tube for soaking after our hikes!

Everything is very clean, in a prime location, and with more amenities than any other BnB I have stayed at. If you are looking for a place that is walkable to nearly everything, with a hot tub, and a great environment for relaxation - this is your spot!

We had a great getaway with our dog this past weekend. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of hiking the state parks. The location was perfect and the owner provided everything we needed which is so convenient! They even provided s’mores!

This property was very clean and just the right size for 2! The location is great, close to everything, but hidden. A couple of minutes from the entrance of Browns County State Park and two minutes from anything you need in Nashville. We will be seeking out this property when we are back in Nashville.

This was the perfect place for a weekend get away with my mom!

The beds were incredibly comfortable and they give you so many pillows and blankets to choose from.

It is located just down the road from little Nashville and near a distillery and golf course.

The only thing to think about is that the doors for the bedrooms and bathroom are barn doors. This does leave a little to be desired for privacy if you are not traveling with people you are very comfortable with.

I am already planning my next trip to bring my husband!

We love the proximity to downtown Nashville, the state park, and Hard Truth Hills. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Great place!! We loved how close to everything it was, yet very private. There's plenty of room inside and even more room outdoors.

We have stayed at several of their rentals and always have had great service. If we’ve had a question we call and they are always polite and handle things promptly. We just spent 4 days in Snoozy Snail cabin and it was decorated so cute and loved the patios.

This little house provides all of the amenities needed and then some. The owner really has taken care in providing things that other places have not; like dry firewood, and starters. Kitchen appliances are like new. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was so comfy bed. A gem

Perfect little getaway, close to all the attractions but far enough away to feel like country

We stayed at this cabin while on a two day getaway to Brown County and are happy we did! This cabin is well-appointed with lots of amenities including a hot tub and gas grill. Although we spent more time outside then in, the interior is super cool and offers plenty of activities from game boards to television, we were never bored. An added bonus is that we were able to walk into town (very short distance) but when at the cabin, it feels miles away…in a good way!

The cottage was awesome everything we needed was in it. Every store was so close by that's a huge bonus, if who ever staying there likes to drink u can literally walk to the HARD TRUTH DISTILLERY and grab a bite to eat. Cool Place

The Snoozy Snail cottage was a wonderful retreat! It was equipped with everything you could possibly need (and usually forget to bring or buy!). The location was fantastic, just 5 minutes from town but sits far enough back from road that it’s very private. I am so appreciative of it being pet friendly and there was even a bowl of toys and towels for my pup!

And I loved how close we were to downtown and all the shops. Everything was super convenient and we would love to stay here again!

was very happy to find this place for just my husband and me. the 4h fair was taking place so i think traffic was heavier than what is typical. otherwise we were just surrounded by nature sounds at night. the bed was really comfortable and we slept well. coffee in the morning could be enjoyed anywhere - i preferred the back patio as there is a little creek that runs there. we had a fire our first night and just sat and relaxed until midnight. the hosts provided everything a guest could possibly need. i loved that a pass to the park was included in stay - we visited 3 seperate times and it was nice to just flash the pass. this home is the perfect location to get everywhere too. nashville has lots of personality, and snoozy snail fits right in. can’t wait to come back!

I highly recommend Moondance Vacation Homes. Amber helped me pick out something nice for a fun getaway for my parents. I decided on the Snoozy Snail Cottage for them. My parents really enjoyed their time in Nashville with close proximity to the downtown, the hot tub, and the fire pit. On the first day there was an air conditioning issue with the unit and someone came out right away to fix it. My parents said the cottage has anything you could want. Thank you again for your help with setting this up for my parents and they really enjoyed their time staying with you.

Amazing location: you’re a few minutes from town, the state park, the distillery, and a short drive into Bloomington (if you want to go there). This is a great little house in a great location near (but not TOO near) town and the state park. Well equipped, in great shape, clean, comfortable and cozy. Note the comments from others that the 'barn doors' on the bedrooms and bathroom do not provide complete privacy or isolation from noise in the next room (from the TV....or otherwise).

The house was very cute and cozy. They even had all the materials to get the fire pit started. It was nearly walking distance to all the shops and had the hot tub set up for privacy with a roof to enjoy it even if it rained. The property has close neighbors on each side but when you would step outside you would feel secluded with the way that the fencing was set up.

We had a great time in Nashville this weekend and Eric’s place was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. Our favorite was of course the hot tub but we also loved the location, smart tv’s that they already had set up for guest access, and the warm welcome with a little sign and music playing. This place will definitely be one we look into next time!

Tiny kitchen, but wonderful appliances (no dishwasher). Pack efficiently. Scout rules! Lovely creek, hot tub, and fire pit with plenty of firewood and starters. Count yourself lucky if this gem is available to book.

Very well decorated home close to brown county shops with a hot tub and a fire pit. The town was within walking distance and brown county state park had great hiking trails. We loved hiking around both Ogle and Strahl lake then enjoyed a late lunch at Big Woods pizza. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Snoozy Snail! It was cute, cozy, had nice amenities, great location and was exactly what we wanted for a getaway spot. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. We also appreciate that they were prepared for our dog staying there to make her feel at home as well! We will definitely go back to the Snoozy Snail.

What a perfect spot!

The location could not be better. It was a great central location between downtown Nashville, Hard Truth Hills, and of course Brown County State Park. All were just a very short drive away. We even enjoyed listening to Friday night football as we were enjoying a fire.

The cabin was beautiful, fun, and eclectic with a very welcoming and cozy environment. It was full of everything you would need right down to a state park pass! Everything was so thoughtful and enjoyable. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The hot tub and fire pit were great places to relax. It was nice to have so much outdoor space with large patios.

We are thankful to have found such a wonderful place and hope to come back for many trips to come!

We liked the location, it was nice and quiet but close to Nashville. The house well stocked with all necessities, we wouldn't really have needed to pack toiletries. And it was pretty clean! The only downside is that the doors through the house were barn style doors and they didnt offer much privacy, that wasn't a concern for us but it may be for others staying there. Overall we had a great time and host was very prompt and communicative!

We absolutely LOVED the house!! It was decorated beautifully (we were admiring everything all weekend). It was such a homey feeling and cozy. We loved that there was everything we could possibly need available, if needed (lighter, pillows, blankets, Netflix/Disney+, fire starters, wood, fire sticks, lotions, shampoos, & so much more). There was also some yard games, umbrella, park pass. We also loved that it was so close to town. It was maybe a 1 minute drive & puts you right at the main intersection. You could honestly walk if you wanted. We didn’t bring a dog but we loved there was even things for the dog to use. A water bowl out front, a nice dog bed, blanket, a couple toys, snacks, poop bags. We would definitely recommend Snoozy Snail to anyone!!!!!

Great space, has everything you will need

You will never want to leave once you arrive! Our cottage was beautiful, inside and out! Close to shopping and dinning. We loved the stream that ran behind the cottage. We enjoyed having our early morning breakfast sitting on the picnic table listening to the running water and song birds singing to us. WE can't wait to go back.

The Snoozy Snail is PERFECT for a weekend getaway or a girls trip!! It’s so small and cute but spacious at the same time! There’s plenty to do in Nashville but this little cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed to stay in if we wanted to! The Hard Truth Hills is only down the road with live music and bar food(and a restaurant!) depending on what you’re feeling, and it’s so close to all the little shops which was very convenient! We will be back!

The snoozy snail cottage has a great atmosphere inside and outside. The decor inside is welcoming and fun and there is plenty of space for fun outside between the fire pit area, Patio, deck, and hot tub! The space was clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the amount of towels available to us as well! Can’t wait to return.

The snoozy snail is the most adorable place I have ever rented! The host thought of everything. The place is as cute outside as it is inside. I enjoyed the hot tub and firepit and just sitting by the little creek. State park was super close so I went each day. I will definitely be back to visit the snoozy snail!

The Snoozy Snail has everything you’ll need to explore the Nashville and Brown County area. Close enough to town and the State Park to be there in minutes. Situated along a slow moving rock bottom creek that is literally outside the back door, this little cottage has everything you need for your family of 4 or less. Hot tub, fire pit, grill, covered porch, hammock, sun deck, separate patio areas and that’s just the outside. Inside its warmly decorated with colorful, but tasteful touches making it a cozy space to spend some down time. Everything is clean and new, with little touches that you may expect from a hotel. You will find everything you need in the kitchen to make a big breakfast, home cooked meal or grill fest. While there are certainly bigger places to stay, you may not find many as welcoming and enjoyable to enjoy your Brown County getaway. So, if you want a place to slow down and catch your breath, I suggest the Snoozy Snail.
